I love this movie and it has a great soundtrack, Intro the Wild all by the great Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. This jam was tailored made for the Ukulele so we are going to break down Society and learn how to play it on our Ukuleles, strum for strum, chord for chord.

Awesome. I can't wait for the solo. I ordered my first tenor uke (luna tt) just the other day so I can't wait to try it out and get low G on it (any tips on which low g strings to get?). Keep on keeping on and don't go wild from our society.

+jozef Sov Society can make me go a little wild, but a little wild is probably okay :) As far as tips for the low g, we are kind of in the same basket. I have about 3 days of experience with it. I strong them up with Aquila because I have trusted all their other strings before, so why not? They sound really full, my ear is having a little trouble getting used to all the bass though, and some chords that I like on the Ukulele with a high G, I like less with the low G. It is an interesting ride man.

@@TenThumbsProductions I think mixing low G and reentrant tuning together (2 ukes) makes a great sound, especially when one is picking and one is strumming. I really like fluorocarbon strings, and for low G I recommend either Worth Clear or Living Waters brands. Let me know if anyone is interested in hearing the 2-uke combination (one low G and one reentrant). Cheers!

@@TenThumbsProductions By the way, I think Eddie Vedder often plays this song live starting on Am instead of Bm like the studio version. I prefer the Am version because the solo fits very nicely on the fret board. There are also some cool fills he does on guitar that sound great on uke. You can easily find RU-vid videos of him performing it this way. Let me know if anyone is interested in a demo of the Am version?

I tried a set of Low G strings on my concert and all I could hear was that G twanging away. It was a RED set of strings is all I can remember, what strings would you recommend to fix that? Low G set that is?

I have only used the Aquilas, so I am not sure. I have heard "living water strings" are great.

I recommend fluorocarbon instead of nylon. I tried those red strings you mentioned and was really disappointed. I really like Worth Clear or Living Waters brands.
