Bear form into cat form and not the other way around and this is only made more true with the addition of runes in SOD in my opinion. The bear runes are just better than cat runes and now you can bleed from bear form( I couldn't do that when I was playing feral back on classic rerelease.) Stack Armor and strength over agility. I troubleshot feral pvp on classic wows rerelease a few years ago and I found at level 40 it is better to stack as much strength and armor as possible. You will never out crit a rogue or have as much energy as them with thistletea and warriors will take advantage of your dodges with OP procs. Sit bear form and get fariefire feral rolling ASAP and IMPROVED demoralizing roar (this talent is CRACKED). Now that you can bleed from bear form I would suggest doing that next and then mangle/mauling until the target is low. With the increased survivability from runes you should be able to outlast until you have a serious advantage. Phase 3 is coming soon and you will be able to rep farm the timbermaws for furbolg medicine pouch off hand and get wolf's hide helm which will allow transitioning to cat for the kill much easier and will seriously increase your frenzied rejuv. Lastly if you can play horde druid because stamina increase and stun the extra dodge from night elf actually hurts you against warriors and shadow meld is near useless in pvp. Extra tip: If you have the pockets for it keep fire breath chili active and maybe an armor pot. Use mana as an emergency resource if you need to kite away in travel form. Bear form for brawling, cat form for QUICK take downs on isolated or low health priority targets and travel form for chase downs or flag carries/kiting. This the way.
Feral is an underdog but unlike most classes you can ALWAYS tell when your fighting a very skilled feral druid. Not many out there but its a very high skill cap spec and when you see feral outplays its beautiful!
Feral druids have alot of utility but lil cc compared to rogues or hunters, its why is hard for them, besides also less dmg compared to BM and Rogue mutilate and the mana issue to change is stupid, cuz they need to shapeshift more freely and less mana, I would even say half a global to change and less mana
Thanks for the video, I'll definitely try going more for Rip. Still it seems to me as feral you have to do everything correctly or you lose and even if you do everything correctly and play perfectly, you can still lose. Almost every match up seems to be unfavorable for feral druids.
Yeah bro you got the right feeling. Some matchups are that bad that even if you theoretically do everything right you can still lose. Thats because game is hugely unvalanced in terms of pvp. Where pet deals 200dmg with autoattacks and your castable ability deals the same xd. Feral is underdog atm. Still i love it
at 2:17, I know its a close window but, after the charge you can warstomp the pet (and the hunter too maybe ?) and make sure you can land the roots 100% (if stun doenst resist kek). Nice pvp clips btw
Pretty sure something resists there but it can be done that way, yeah.. i also thought about Natures grasp the pet away from hunter but again chances of resisting or doing anything beside camping in bear form is risk of getting 30% hp demolished by 1 hit 😄

@@stepanovicipi64wtf20 Im actually trying to use experiance from wotlk where i could kill average rogues, but seems impossible in SoD. Ferals luck much things. Mana hungry, no slow, no cyclone. Rogues shadowstep in roots on top of that rofl... and everyone is Mutilate which again counters druids cuz they passesby our armor with nature damage. Awful atm 😅
Personally just requires a consumes. I will typically say screw it and trinket the opener and immediately fap/abolish and then go into bear form for a bash kite heal up and back into bear form pop berserk and spam mangle
Huh, im not using these kind of pots in pvp, thats just not my style :P Yeah im very good at kiting rogues in wotlk, with bear charge>roots>bashes, but unfortunately it aint working here. Its impossible due these ptoblems i mentioned
Feral feels frustrating. Tried a respec today but after 20 mins grinding mobs 6 lbs lower I quick went back boomie. Feral feels weak beside the burst moments. Energy comes back slow and even on lower lvls you miss a lot. I would really love it, but just can’t.
True. But that burst may work on plenty of players. Berserk really is OP ability, but beside that you cant really do anything. Zero defensives beside Survival instict, having heals which u cant use at all in fights lol
Credit to you from a long time feral druid. I wasnt using savage roar in PvP, but I can say it's a huge difference maker in the burst! Edit: no issue with meta warlocks with the second global savage roar and a full berserk PvE rotation. But I'm very geared in comparison.
Im stuck between making my first sod char a war, warlock or feral druid. My main goal is to do bgs and get raid spot easy for gear i can use for pvp. What is your thoughts ?
Im not really sure which class of those are easy to get into raid, but in SoD you really shouldnt have problem finding raid because there is really a lot of people playing. If you are noob/druid/mage/healer/pro it doesnt matter i think you will find your raid spot. And most of the gear you are getting from raid is bis for pvp too
@@NibbaiWotlk yeah atm i went with war. But it feels exactly like classic war, no new things really 😂 but I keep my fingers crossed we get something new and exciting in phase 4 maybe. Otherwise I can always reroll I guess ...
Problem as a feral in Classic is : one misstake and your dead. And that includes resists and Misses etc. Bear stun resist? Lose… you cant hold Till the 1 Minute cd is over. It was like That in Vanilla. And its Even harder in SoD because of the high Burst from all classes
Grab 5/5 in HotW and mana enchant on weapon has me at 2k mana. I play LotP and have no issues. I also only play survival chest, sunfire, lifeblood, berzek, and king of the jungle
@@NibbaiWotlk With this much effort i would perform better at any other spec. Satisfaction that you get from outplaying an opponent by doing everything perfectly does not outweight all the other times you do it right and still lose just because. On the long run it puts a very heavy mental toll on you
Huh, all the comments are about how weak is feral 😅. Yes beside burst he is very limited. But again that burst is very good that may be fatal against most casual players
