I'm mostly used to SC2 and idk if its much different in WC3 but feels like in a situation like that the best move would be stop command cause its 1 click instead of 2 and also has no risk of doing something like that.

@MaxsSwole
@MaxsSwole 22 дня назад
It's actually sad to think he used to be the World #1 Feral Druid Gladiator in World of Warcraft but can't even follow these simple keyboard commands from Grubby. Soda is so washed up. You had to memorise 8-10 different classes in WoW and keep track of 30+ abilities and their cooldowns and in different combinations depending on your team set up vs. the enemy team set up, all in real time while simultaneously trying to micro your character. Rank 1 Gladiators' brains go at light speed, yet Soda's brain kept crashing every time Grubby asked him to do more than 2 things at once.

@@MaxsSwole RTS is the hardest genre to learn, I used to play Counter Strike 1.6 at a relatively high level and I think that was easier, RTS has a lot of complexity, and that's why the genre is dying, because people are lazy and want easy to play games
@philippecote8571
@philippecote8571 22 дня назад
@@MaxsSwole He was never #1 feral druid(maybe ranked on ladder for a bit), but I will absolutely defend him here. Most wow players would eat their own lunch getting coached on WC3 if they have no RTS experience. I have over 30 glad titles and 6 R1 titles in wow arena and I'm a duelist in WC3, and I've been back on WC3 for like 2-3 years. Soda is getting extreme sensory overload right now, way too much info all at once. He would benefit from spamming games vs computers and watching streams but surely doesn't want to bore his viewers. That being said, sure there's alot of situational awareness involved in wow arena(less than moba/RTS) and some quick reflexes(less than moba/FPS)but for both PVE and PVP that game is NOT very hard(Mostly /played). I guarantee you if most pros of MOBA/RTS/FPS had the incentive to get max level and compete they absolutely could but the barrier to entry without the incentive is a boring dungeons and dragons walking simulator all the way to max level(for retail that is, original xpacs were amazing), and most wow pros would get destroyed at high level of any of those genres even with a year of coaching. We do have a select few insane gamer talents that could crossover if they had the drive(Ex: Snutz or Chanimal). For the majority though, R1 glads are bigger mouth breathers than you would imagine. ESPECIALLY with WeakAuras now playing the game for you. Addons have tragically turned my beloved wow arena into a button mashing + Bop It audio queues combo.

Watching all these new players try and play in the showmatch reminded me of when I was a kid. Growing up me and my 3 older brothers would beg my mother to go to an internet cafe in the local mall called web warriors and we would play Warcraft 3. We would load up FFA and proceed to play exactly how the league players would in the showmatch which is embarrassing to admit lmaoo in my defense I was probably only 6 years old at the time as im 25 now. Not long after this my oldest brother was starting to follow the competitive scene that was building around this game and showed me a montage someone uploaded to youtube of his favorite player titled : 4KGrubby - The king of Orc. I can only find an audio-less re upload of the montage on youtube today but ill just say it was a masterpiece and leave it at that. Thank you Grubby for being a part of my life for nearly as long as I can remember. Your daily uploads are a constant reminder of the times i spent with my family playing this game we all loved growing up. :)

Don't worry, WC3 is welcoming to new players. Don't be afraid to say you're new and ask for tips in the Lounge. Everyone has a stiff losing streak when they first start. It takes about 15-20 games for the matchmaking system to figure out your lvl and match you with opponents of equal skill, so don't think losing all those early games is anything out of the ordinary, it's just you getting put up against mutch better players untill your mmr sinks to the lvl you'll have fun playing at.

"How long is Dreadlord's stun?" Correct answer: Depends on how fast you can slap yourself in the face. Also, watching him hover the ideal spot for a building only to suddenly move it somewhere else multiple times is kind of triggering. He picks things up pretty quick though imo. I'm sure he'll forget half of it when he's alone, but still...it's good progress. Also, just for content, since Soda is being taught UD by an Orc player...Tyler should be taught Orc by a UD player before the match. PEAK imo.
