This video is about Sode Guruma Jime All about JUDO, the Sleeve Wheel strangle, 2016 Wellington Seminar by Koji Komuro Please bear with the Japanese Language translations, look into the quality of the techniques.
I started training BJJ about 3 years ago and then started training Judo as well shortly after and I am loving it. I have naturally gravitated to chokes and this is by far one of the best demonstrations of performing this particular choke with an emphasis on angles and how to get the submission against a highly defensive partner. Time to study and practice this one. Thank you so much Sensei!
This technique come from old japanese jiu jitsu and was introduced in Brazil by judo masters. Ezequiel is the name of the judoka who made it popular between the jiu jitsu practitioners of Brazil.
