Sodium Potassium Pump - Active Transport

This Biology video tutorial explains how the sodium potassium pump works inside the cell membrane. This protein based pump is an example of active transport which requires the use of ATP energy to power the movement of particles up against the concentration gradient - that is to move the particles from a region of low concentration to a region of high concentration. The sodium potassium pump transports 3 Na+ ions out of the cell and takes in 2 K+ ions into the cell per cycle.

Question: I know the pump is a form of primary transport, but what happens to the phosphate group after it leaves the ATPase? Does it get reused? Does it react with ADP? Or is it consumed by peroxisomes (I heard peroxisomes take care of free radicals)

If the membrane is more permeable to K+ (more K+ leak channels) than permeable to Na+, then more K+ leaves than Na+ enters, right? If so, why does the pump transport more Na+ outside (3) and less K+ inside (2), shouldn't it be otherwise?

Cocncentration of sodium is more outisde the cell reverse is true for potassium, 3 sodium ions enter the pump, energy- atp converts to adp and pjsophrilade the pump (activate) transferring a phosphate group spdoum ions and phosphate group enters where top is open and bottom is closed, the pump looses affinity for the sodium ions eventually causing the sodium ions to leave, then twp potassium ions enter the pump the protein looses affinity for phosphate group and then a change of shape occurs , and then the protein looses affinity for potassium pump releases them
@neildelacruz8970

is there any specific reason why the pump only accomodates 3Na and 2K ions every time?

Thanks for the video .. But i still have my doubts ,. 1. Why ? To transport more Na+ & K+ when there is already too much (give me the exact ans.pls) 2. I read the book called MODERNS ABC in which it says that ..when the cell membrane is stimulated , it becomes depolarised and Na+ influx happens on the basis of electrochemical gradient and then it explains further the repolarization - K+ efflux .. So here I don't get it how the membrane is stimulated and if Na+ influx then how it is active transport (bcoz active processes -against the conc.n gradient ??) If u know the ans pls reply ..!🙏
