Of all the stupid things Eric has ever done this takes the cake. To answer the question, I'm in film school and had to make one person do all the filming due to lockdown.
Great short. And considering how everything seems to be going wrong in the world, you have nothing to worry. You have loyal fans who know your work is worth it.
Victor you should do a Sodor Short: Memories video. It starts with all of the Thomas characters from your series and reacting to their past adventures.
How about Sodor Short: Neighbors? Several French engines arrive on Sodor and get into wacky and goofy scenarios with the local Sudrians. Plenty of room for more Monty Python references.
Skarloey: We’ve got some episodes coming up so we thought we make start! Edward: Ok there’s only a dozen things wrong with that, but I’ll boil it down to 2! 1. I don’t remember this being in the script! And second, as executive producer for “Stories of Sodor”, I make the call about any changes!
"Setbacks, creative differences, miscommunication and demands for rewrites have hampered production for Part 2 of Season 4. What else could go wrong?" me: probly percy doing the jumpscare gag to much and thus causing chaose for Victor Tanzig such as more work or rail raouts needing updated various engines drivers having heart attacks and probly much more
Edward and Skarloey arguing over production equipment was hilarious. Edward sounds like a hard producer to work for. And another mistake for Eric......
I use to make Bionicle stop motions, then once lockdown over and stop motion being a pain the donkey I stopped, though I plan on doing more stop motion later (FYI Bionicle is my 4th favorite franchise, just above Thomas the Train, 5th place).
Yes - both in making my fan works and taking part in real-life productions (usually choir concerts and drama/musical theatre productions). These problems included Trainz crashing on me (the fan projects) and constantly having to redo particular dance sequences or fluffing singing/speaking lines during rehearsals!
I now can't un image Donald and Douglas with oil and the Scottish national anthem thanks Victor for scaring me lol, looking forward to season 4 PT 2 though
Ok, we need more of Skarloey as a stern director. Had me laughing my a$$ off!!! 😂😂😂 Edit: Just watched the OG scene from Saddles. I must say, you nailed the vibe!!! Got a very Gene Wilder feel on the first viewing before I knew where this came from
Hey now, no need to be rude to Strasburg Percy, he'd never hurt anyone. Unlike Edward here being reckless with nukes in a previous short. As for production issues, there was good old writers and artist block, then when I was a stage actor there was a scene with FDR's "date which will live in infamy" speech. Originally we were supposed to have someone on stage right behind a desk reading the speech out loud as per the script but since the scene was to be heard over the radio we decided to use an actual recording of that speech.
Oh god I literally pissed myself With the blazing saddles reference 😂😂😂 Throw out your hands Stick out your tush Hands on your hips Give it a push Don’t be surprised you’re doing the french mistake VOILA!
Skarloey: Have you got it? Trucks: Yes…. Skarloey: Sounds like steam escaping… Oh wait that was me. ACTION! Oh no, wait till I get out! Wait till I get out! Give me the playback!
The main problem that I had was one guy that my team was working with was clueless., and had no idea what he was doing. In the end, we had to remove him.
Actually this past Saturday at my production job, we had everything setup the day before ready to go but when we got on site the internet connection provided was dead and our entire network that controls our audio, streaming, camera video and coms was completely dead. I had to get very creative with patching and fixing everything on the spot
A product thing a lot of Digimon fans like myself had to deal with would be the Data Squad episode where Thomas plans a splendid birthday at the fairgrounds for Marcus' sister. The problem was a Digimon called Bombernanimon appeared in the original Japanese dub and due to it resembling terrorism, the English dub turned him into a giant orange called Citramon.
Amazing work again Victor, an issue with production I've had in the past is with my secondary's drama productions thanks to COVID we shut down, but I hope we get it back up again
Definitely my crew. The vouce atcors don't seem to understand that I need those lines even though I sent them their script months ago. It gets kind of annoying.
Skarloey: “WRONG!!!!!” *throws the megaphone at the Slate Trucks* I even had to deal with the attempts of the Wizard of Oz, The Train Trip and the Pirate Play in the Drama Class.
