Hello, everyone. Just want to say I can't take credit for the writing in this video. It's an adaptation of a segment from my favourite comedy series "Yes, Minister". I love that show. Bonus question: Have you ever encountered a grammar Nazi and how did you respond?
I'm really surprised. Eric being smart is… Unexpected, but very funny and educational. I feel bad about the cooking stuff, though. Oh well, as they say: "As one door closes, another one opens".
Well, if Diesel was a Class 08 in Victor’s headcanon, I’d be questioning how you didn’t know. *But since Diesel- I mean, Bruce, ISN’T an 08, you raise a fair point.*
The beginning where Gordon screamed "HERETICS!" had me in stitches. And poor Percy getting yeeted into the sea at the end! (Yes I use that word....I'm so sorry XD)
"It's a rock." The way Eric said that is funny! 😆😆😆 (And almost makes me think of "A Bug's Life.") Also, the way they moved back was real cool and sudden.
I just had a great idea for a story that I just HAVE to share! Okay, so picture this: It's the anniversary of when Gordon took a train of evacuees away, but half of his evacuees were lost to the Nazis (I believe it was the episode "Evacuation"). He always feels down this time of year, but this year is different. As he travels down the line where it all happened, he starts getting flashbacks and has renewed guilt, feeling responsible for their deaths, and neither Edward's assurance nor Mickey's counseling can put him at ease. Behind the scenes, however, a young lady is searching for information about her grandfather and finds out that he was one of the evacuees that Gordon saved (You can decide how she finds out. I.E. Journal or something). Edward hears of this and explains Gordon's situation to the lady (You choose the name). She begs him to take her to Gordon to thank him. They find him getting a tongue-lashing from Bensin (Or any other engine) and they make a comment about Gordon's incident. The young lady jumps from Edward's cab and starts giving Bensin (or any other engine) a piece of her mind, essentially, explaining how if her grandfather wasn't saved, she wouldn't be here (because it happened before he was married. If you use the journal route, she could read an entry where her grandfather explains what happened that night, how he was eternally grateful for Gordon, and how he only wished to have thanked him). The engine at the receiving end of her tongue-lashing rolls away, defeated, and Gordon and the young lady have a heartwarming moment together. From then on, Gordon learns to let go of his guilt knowing he still did save lives. Sorry for a book of a comment, but I just HAD to share this idea to you, Victor! I only ask that you refrain from any vulgar language. It dampens the story, and I always feel like I'm getting punched in the gut!
I don’t know what’s more hilarious the fact Eric has studied dead languages or the fact that he could have an intellectual conversation with Gordon. Betting the rock is either a bomb in disguise or a real rock. But she wants him to think so Bruce will panic and finnally pay her back to make sure he does.
0:51 and 2:16 Victor I don’t know whether to be proud or disappointed in myself for knowing those exact references to Yes, Minister right off the bat before reading the comment section.
Me: becomes impatient about videos and begins to worry about victor Victor with a new video: *goes into a lot of detail about something that took a lot time and energy* Me:very well, carry on
This is the most educational Sodor Short yet! I think it is beneficial to learn dead languages such as Ancient Greek or Latin because so many modern day words have roots from those languages. The same goes with Shakespeare. His works are a great example of how words evolve over time!
James: If all are made-up, then they are inherently meaningless. Therefore, their use in any and all situations - sentences and so forth - are simultaneously right and wrong. Everyone: *surprised Pikachu faces Me: No, no. He's got a point.
My least favourite word is like. When I’m at school, when the teacher ask a question to the other students they always say ‘like’ ands it’s really annoying.
The shorts may not be canon to the main story, but they never fail to entertain. I can tell you have fun when making them, when you do stuff like having Eric be an expert in ancient languages or giving Bruce a storyline and a sister out of the blue, or yeeting tf out of Percy lmao Favorite word: Yo. It's a handy little piece of slang/aave Least favorite: Any racial slur/derogatory terms. Bitch has some leeway cuz I use it to describe things (Ex. Them bitches (food item) were delicious) but not people cuz I don't like that. Rock theory: Uh, if it isn't a bomb, a bath bomb with a hidden note, or a trojan horse, I got nothin.
I actually genuinely enjoyed this short! I can't exactly say that for all your shorts but this one was hilarious, fun, and the best part is, no vulgar language!🤗😁Thank you!!!
@@skyejunior8050 Percy: (Spoils the new Paw Patrol Movie) And thats how the whole movies goes. So what did you guys think of it? (The engines are in shock) Uh Guys?
The rock is a metaphor for either a wrecking ball or somehow Bruce receiving an all expense paid spa day at the quarry, although maybe a warning of The Rock.
I used to loathe whenever someone spoke the word "education" (with emphasis on the CAyshun part) - used to make my skin crawl! I'm fine with it now though haha!
Seeing the thumbnail: Oh wow it looks like Victor Tanzig has made a video about the importance of being careful when using certain words on the Internet Opening the video: **Proceeds to talk about Greek and Latin grammar**
Jesus I never knew eric knows all those words including everyone else that was quite of a hand full I never thought of those many words I'm surprised and impressed by your work my please keep up the good work God bless your soul and heart
