I survived human trafficking (forced prostitution) for 6 months and it's been a year since I was rescued. I almost died but I'm still alive and I basically went to the police and he's going to trial in a few months.. but I can't sit through this song without non-stop crying. This piece released some emotions I didn't know I still had. I hate the way this world treats women. Anyway, thank you for making this art piece.
@@ylime04 the fact that you all act as if you are victims..... it reached a point where being a victim of such a horrible act is looking as if its a part of every women's life... it reached the point when a female that havent been under any of that thank god... looks like an outsider to other females... which lead to her lying that she's been "bla bla bla" and destroying someone's life just to feel that she belongs to you.... We call such societies (failed society).
@@simplelife88393 this sounds like "first world doesn't have any problems" let me tell you, I live in Spain, and every day I hear in the news horrible notices about women being killed and raped by their partners, family, teachers and police..its not funny..
Unfortunately not for everyone. I’ve been r*ped and abused and assaulted and had to flee DV TWICE - my (narcissistic and abusive) parents blamed me and turned my siblings against me and wouldn’t help me, claimed I was abusing them…
For me it's kinda obvious, like, that's what taking things personal is about - usually it's things that happen to our loved ones that we take personal. Still, I think it's important to pay attention and to care, even if you don't take it personal.
The real Mens always fought for our beloved womens mothers and children..and everyday we die for it.. Watch everyone EUROPA THE LAST BATTLE To know who's the enemy the parasite that hijacked our humanity.
As a human being (and a father), I strongly feel that this video should have more than 4 billion views. After we have forced every single man on earth to watch it and understand it...
@@tanteisan Basically it means that a man's 'mistress' gets a 'pass' for an abortion, as his 'wife' can't find about his cheating, however most women are unable to have that abortion as it's illegal.
This part hit me hard as a gay man living in this society, im sorry ladies that we have to endure all of this hate under all white washed male power..it sucks! 😔😔😔
@@nooooo3400 God calls for murder of certain people in the bible which includes innocent people, shes saying the republicans are calling for the murder of anyone not Straight, White, Male and Christian in the name of jesus, which is true, the republicans and a few pastors are just waiting for us to get killed because god said "the government should kill us, not the christians" thats a quote from a Texas pastor
@@xmadgamer1797 Peace brother Western women (especially in the USA) are not treated as men's equal and have fewer rights. Many men do not value their women and instead abuse them and/or treat them as slaves and tools to get what they (the men) want in life. Many women just want to be treated with respect by men, treated as equals to men, and have body autonomy.
It is so disgustingly sad that this song became the art that it is. It's beautiful and it perfectly paints the "gorgeous" dystopia the greedy have created.
Okay so I know the lyrics are in the video but personally it's a bit difficult to keep up with them when they are one line at a time. I can't find them anywhere else so I put them here for me and anyone else who might want them!! Hope it helps someone :) I ate dinner with beasts Crinkled hands and red cheeks Looking at my body like it's food And your breath smells like bacon You ask "what's the special occasion?" Like I dress and dance just for you Our women are cattle There's blood on our kids Are you being paid to not pay attention? Does it have to happen to your mother To your sister or your daughter For you to take it personal? So pump us full of sperm Put us in a barn Us and pigs on a Mississippi farm In 9 months we'll have a kid you won't care about And if the kid's not straight, white, and male We guarantee a living hell Murder in the name of a loving god Our women are cattle There's blood on our kids Are you being paid to not pay attention? Does it have to happen to your mother To your sister or your daughter For you to take it personal So burn the witch alive Drink our dirty water Be prepared for the Mississippi slaughter Your mistress gets a pass 'cause your wife can't find out I guess we were just being a little loud Shut us up and put apples in our mouth But pull your own daughter out from the lineup
I hope your sleeves never get wet, you get the amazing feeling of brand new socks more and a lot of quiet mornings with amazing morning air after you got a good sleep 🩵🩵🩵 and of course lots of weed and good orgasms 😁 you're amazing
Only came across this artist tonight and she’s reminding of when I first came across artists like Lorde, Lana Del Rey even Billie Eilish where they’re closer to poets than songwriters, but closer to a songwriter than a pop star- not the kind you can imagine singing a mindless song written by strangers for them… am I making sense to anyone?! It’s rare. I really can’t wait to see more for her! ❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is so beautiful and somehow sad at the same time... WE AS MEN SHOULD HAVE NO SAY IN WHAT A WOMAN DOES WITH HER OWN BODY!!! I stand with women and their right to choose! ❤️✊️❤️✊️
Oh god! The lyrics, meaning, and the voice! Wow the song is fucking perfect and the meaning? I have no idea how it’s so freaking true and sad it’s a CRIME that this song isn’t viral!
Felt this deeply. I don't know when it started (prior to age 7) but I wanted out when I was 12 because I didn't want to carry babies. (Multiple men) I was done with life. Somehow I survived and made it to 18 which is when I got out because I went to college in another state. I'm missing most of my memories and I'm not exactly looking forward to doing the therapy to get them back which needs to happen so I can heal and process everything.
As a boy this song makes me feel guilty without doing anything. i wish i could make things right or something. Like i feel i need to do things about this cuz i dont know maybe as a boy i can chance other boys minds
I love and appreciate your comment. Be an example to those around you by treating all women with respect and as your equal. Be brave and call out any mistreatment you see. There's an increasing amount of resources to teach us how to be and do better.
I'd say one of the best things you can do is to listen and learn. The more you understand, the better you will be at articulating what's wrong with the world and WHY it's wrong, and that will help you challenge the people perpetuating the control and commodification of others. You are seen, and appreciated. ❤
Pure Majesty. This is like black lightning. Registering to Vote takes less than a minute, if you go online, enter your county's name followed by "election board". 65-year-old straight white male here, for what it's worth. I hope you Crush 'em. This is a Masterpiece!
I'm so glad you added this to the Tampa setlist!! You're so amazing. It genuinely means a lot to the people here because the bans just get worse and worse and I know people *personally* who are facing the consequences of these awful restrictions. Your music is such a work of art ❤
I’m a non binary person who cannot get any gender transition materials. This song hits so deep, especially being someone who is often s3xualized due to other contributing factors. Living in America is the best I can do currently, yet it’s still a living hell. Everyone I’ve known has related to this on a different level. How long must it take for people to understand that we are normal?
Hey, my names Sam and I’m also nonbinary. It will be ok. You will get through this. You will one day be able to transition and have exactly the body you want. It will be ok.
I feel like I've been waiting forever for this to come out and I'm so incredibly excited its out I've been listening to it on repeat for the last hour 🖤🖤🖤
This is definitely one of the best songs she’s ever written. The lyrics are powerful and the melody is also perfectly composed. And the lyrics make sense.
I'm a SA survivor and the amount of people i called "friends" who didn't believe me made me so angry. This is the kind of rage i felt, does it need to happen to you, your sister or your mother for you to take it personal? It hits different.
Very triggering story that fits this perfectly.... I once heard a story of a family back home. The dad said his wife couldn't have more kids. He of course continued to have sex with her (I'm assuming non-consensual based on the story). She inevitably got pregnant. He took the baby from her immediately after birth and threw it in the hog pen for their food. Hogs eat everything...even bone. That story haunts me.
Saw (and more importantly: heard) the trailer for this one a while back on your TikTok and now searched for that. At the time I thought it odd to put out a trailer for a song, but it seems to work.
Very late to hearing this song, but i love it she has such a stunning voice and every word couldn't have been more on point. All women including kids have to grow up with so much fear of just peaking outside, even their own homes give no relief at times. I was "introduced" into this side of the world at an extremely young age, and so were So many others both that i know and don't. I hope that some day no one will have to feel the same fear we do, even if we dont get to wittness it in the near future, it needs to change for the better. But anyways, i hope everyone stays safe out there and has an amazing life!
I'm currently making a fictional jjk maki playlist, where the pov: a dead victim of the zenin clan and you're proud of maki. I was looking for some songs truly depciting the power as well as tragedy of women and the rage that generations of females have had to and continue to bottle. After a first track Spotify recommended this, and I have never been more glad. This truly encapsulates the tragedy of being stuck in world where there are some men who play otherwordly beings against females, as nimble toys for their exploitation and discarding. The rage. I have been fortunate enough to not have faced the darkest end of the anti-female agenda throughout history and in some places today, nonetheless this is song still relieves, or at the least, makes you sigh on knowing that the despair isn't delusion, it's everywhere, and you're not the only one being burnt apart. I hope for the women out there to hear this, and for future generations to study this song should a day ever come that women are truly not prejudiced against, because what our gender has suffered through, for all the pain and unjust 'disappearances', at the very least it should never be forgotten in history and women deserve the right to have it all be recurrently taught to the future, rather than forgetting and nullifying it just because of the awareness that its wrong or that the problem has been solved. The anti-female agenda has gone on for millenia probably, at the very least if we go to a better world, the past of women, who have lost the most, deserves to be remembered for many more millenia.
Why does this have less than 700 likes? Come on women we need to gather together and push this. Like holy hell don't be shy and disappointing, share this.
