When you use the Q8 Pro to charge your other devices such as cellphone, the ORANGE LED will light up. I've read other reports that the orange LED also comes on randomly. Mine does that too.
I ordered and received 2 of these Q8 Pro's today. I can't for the life of me get into strobe mode! I'm sooo frustrated. They make these so complicated. I'm clicking 2 times and hold on 3....and nothing.
Sorry you're having a frustrating time! So when the light is off, and you click THREE times ... do you get any of these modes? --Battery Check Temperature Check Beacon Mode SOS mode (when enabled)
Then, in order to have access to the strobe modes, it must be set to the ADVANCED interface. This is where you would click THREE times and HOLD the third click. The set of modes after that are; Candle Bike Flasher Party Tactical Lightning Storm Are those the ones you're trying to get to?
My year old Q8 Pro will no longer do Turbo Mode. I've tried all solutions in the instructions in the Anduril 2 sheet to no avail. Only time it will do Turbo is if I have the charger attached. Any ideas appreciated.
You have to click the switch in a specific way. It's kind of frustrating to do but not impossible. The way I've been able to do it in the past, is to click the switch but hold for a second before double clicking. I would say to experiment a bit by doing a holding press with a double click.
@@Lightsngear I said that in your video you can see that the BLF Q8 has something on the glass or on the reflector, it is something like a fog on the edge of the glass, it looks good at minute 1:36, please watch the video that you posted .if you noticed what that fog on the edge might be? I hope you understand what I mean ... Thanks again
@@rogojangigel3294 Ok...yes, I see what you mean! I don 't know how to respond to that...because when I look into the lens, it looks okay, especially after I cleaned it a bit. I can't say that it affects the beam in a negative way, and it's never bothered me. I'll admit the Sofirn Q8 has a much clearer lens.
Sorry, those types of settings are found at the "toykeeper" link within the review. Anyway, first, you must have the UI set to "advanced" -- then, follow along here; Aux LEDs / Button LEDs ---------------------- Some lights have aux LEDs or button LEDs. These can be configured to do different things while the main emitters are off. There is one aux LED mode for the regular "off" mode, and another aux LED mode for "lockout" mode. This allows the user to see at a glance whether the light is locked. Aux LED modes typically include: - Off - Low - High - Blinking To configure the aux LEDs, go to the mode you want to configure and then click the button 7 times. This should change the aux LEDs to the next mode supported on this light. If that sounds confusing, think of it this way. Make sure the light is set to the ADVANCED UI. Once it's in that setting, it's as simple as clicking the switch 7 TIMES while the light is OFF. With each 7th click, the illuminated display changes to the next setting. Just keep doing it, until you see the one you want.
