Thats my EDC slash everyday use, delivered to me 09/24/22 and after almost everynight use and a few knee high drops (im 5'7), the tailswitch is a bit "wonky, maybe needs cleaning or replacement. The charging now is also tricky, i need to unscrew the batt from the FL then but it back to have a decent charge, longer charge from red to green coz if i dont, less than 2mins after plugging it, it will turn green vs removing and inserting battery for a few seconds which the charging will be "normal". Overall, good decent tactical FL and already eyeing another sofirn FL. Awesome.vid man! Mabuhay! -SoCal Pinoy tambay
@torchesandtactical. Hello, definitely I would buy the Sofirns SP35T.Higher lumens never means better throw or benefit if not executed properly.Of the two in this vid the Sofirns SP35T is the better all around EDC and duty use light and that's coming from an Army veteran and ex L.E.O and medical technician. The Sofirns SP35T is better designed and built for real world EDC and duty usage. All the best to you.

Bough mine Sept.2022, always on me at night even just in the backyard and by the river and always my edc when going out, it has a few bumps like less than 1.5mtrs drop to floor tiles and ground. Now its a little bit jittery or flickery, dunno the right word but on turbo, it flkckers sometimes and not sure if it charges full, i guess blame it on the drops (less than 10x). And i need to tap it to get it back to turbo. Hopefully i can still depend on it
i have bought 1 sir, nice light, very bright but can get very hot at the tip. battery are performed best and still trying to understand how the light cycle works
@@kazuya6852 Well, that answer depends on the individual user. There's no such thing as the absolute best single EDC light for everyone, even if you take away budget constraints. What battery configuration do you prefer? How much weight are you willing to put up with? Do you prefer sheer output over runtime, or vice versa. What modes do you want? And, in what order? Too many variables for each individual. The best EDC light for one person, is going to be the worst option for another.
Do any of the sofirn edc lights have white and red light? I looked in their website and I'm not finding any except on their headlamps. I'm a mariner and I need that red light option when out at sea
Offhand, the only ones I can think of are their lanterns. The LT1 is a fantastic option, but it sounds like you're looking for something more handheld or able to be clipped to a pocket. My suggestion would be to look at the Wurkkos (Sofirn is their ODM) HD15R. It is a right angle with two emitters, one of them being a red lens. wurkkos.com/products/wurkkos-hd15r-angle-flashlight-headlamp
Tactical lights should have only tail butons! One hand operation is what tactical really means. Also this light doesn't have enough throw for a tactical light.
This one is unique because they blend the ability to do EDC functions as well as tactical functions. Depending on the mode (tactical) you're in, you can completely ignore the side switch. But, if you're n EDC mode, you can still scroll through other brightness settings with that side switch.
@@torchesandtacticalyou didnt complete the ui operation in tactical mode. U just clik clik clik the tail cap and its done. Did'nt even mention if u can use the side switch in tactical mode or not. And putting the UI on the last part of the video? Wadafak man. Dislike.
