I was looking for a leftover recipe and here it is! It's really simple to make, failed a little with the folding so I steamed it before frying and it tasted awesome!

Hi! I was wondering, do you really need the oil in the dough?

Hey Fer, great question, regular rice flour will not stick together like that, unfortunately.

Can i use another flour ?
@WoonHeng
@WoonHeng 2 года назад
Hey Ghaya, to get the sticky and pulling texture, only glutinous rice flour will do that, unfortunately. But if you prefer to have the flour version, please check my other bun recipe. :-)

my dough was very hard. any tips?
@WoonHeng
@WoonHeng 2 года назад
Hi Apsana, when you knead, the dough should be pliable. If yours is too hard, you can moist your palm when kneading it. Glutinous rice flour absorbs water very slowly, so it's best to add in batches. hope that helps.
