This pretty summer Skittles manicure was created with (from pinkie)
Essie 'Check Your Baggage'
This is a lovely golden yellow creme polish. It's softer in tone than the camera picked up (not as bright yellow). Easy to apply with a wide brush and well pigmented. I applied three coats for a good opacity.
Essie 'Lounge Lover'
A little tricky to apply, this is an older Essie polish with a thinish brush and the formula is fairly thin and tacky. However the shade is beautiful and slightly more pinky than the camera could pick up. I needed to apply three coats for a good opacity and colour depth.
Nails Inc 'Soho Place'
A lovely turquoise creme polish (although my camera seemed to pick the colour up as blue). Applies easily with the wide brush. I applied three coats for good opacity and colour depth.
Nails Inc 'Lamb Lane"
This is a very pretty soft pink creme polish. Easy to apply with a wide brush. I applied three coats for a good opacity and colour
Essie 'Picket Fence'
A very pretty rich cream coloured polish. This is from an older range of Essie with a very thin brush and so was a challenge to apply! Also the formula is fairly thin and silky so not the easiest to apply but it was the perfect colour to finish this skittles manicure. I needed to apply 4 coats to achieve a good opacity - sometimes this is the way! Beautiful colour though and worth the effort!
A lovely soft toned summer skittles manicure.
