Your curls and shine were a hit from using the gel. I never used the Softee brand much but my jam was the Isoplus Styling Gel. Yellow in color with the navy blue lid...ring a bell anyone??? TFS xo
It's crazy that you tried this gel. Everytime I got a good wash and go (2 out of the 3 times I've tried it) I used this gel. I wash, deep condition, lco then use this gel and shingle then air dry and it be bomb (well most of the time lol) I do have to scrunch the crunch, I do it with oil and fluff. My go to style is twists and twist outs
I use the brown softee gel for buns and ponytails. It’s the best! It doesn’t flake. It holds my hair all day. I’m Curious to know how the brown gel would work on a wash and go. I never used the clear one yet. You should try one of their hair greases too.
So I’m just gonna say it...but Softee gel and grease is hood hair products 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣usually the hair products that we hood people use will make for a long lasting hair style. I like keeping styles for up to two weeks. And yes those gel products get crusty but that’s what oil sheen is for...not just for shine and scalp moisture. The oil sheen literally reduces the “snowflake effect” you experience when playing in crusty, dry, flaky gel hair from hood products. So buy you some dollar store oil sheen the next time you do that so you can spray on day one and day two. Scrunching oil from your hand to your hair is cool but keep it sweet and simple for the people who are learning. Just...oil sheen, then work those fingers through your hair

I love the results. I have never tried this product for a wash n go. I did years ago when we were doing baby hairs or slicking back a ponytail. lol (old school)
I used their Flaxseed and Castor oil one. Liked it. Hair was dry... but i would just use something more moisturizing underneath.... Cause Eco is Cancelled Cancelled....it don't even hold no more!!!🤨😡
I love the Brown Argan gel, no flakes. I never tried the clear protein because of my fear of too much protein. But it’s probably safe. Idk and sadly wet line flakes with my hair I gave it away after 1 use.
I recently bought it. I used it for finger coils. It came out great; but had flakes. Probably because I didn't use a cream or leave-in before applying the gel. Your hair looks amazing!! 😍❤️ It Always does! I love your videos!!! Thanks 😊😊 😊😊😊😊😊
RU-vid is definitely watching me! I literally just saw this gel in Walmart about two hours ago when I had never heard of it before and then your video pops up on my feed. I'm glad I smelled it first bc unfortunately I cannot stand that old school scent. I'm also not sure how my hair would react to the protein in it bc it does better with products geared towards adding moisture.
