So I'n working on this jazz standard, getting a handle on the changes, listening to classic versions, and I want to hear a vocal rendition. And I find this modern performance. Whoa. They've completely changed the chordal structure and added all kinds of new ideas into the arrangement. Fantastic musicianship.

damn i've watched and listened this performance so many times over the year ! it's such a fantastic arrangement of one of my favorite standards, and Cyrille and Joel killed these solos... the rythmn section swings so damn hard too, amazing musicianship. Just brilliant overall and highly addictive!

Finally, a vocal performance in a nice tempo, apart from a Franklyn Baur recording from the 20's. That's the way it should be done. It's a swinging, uptempo song, not a ballad
