So here i am back in the "camping" section of my local wally world and i spy this little baby. The cost was perfect, so why not? Great little #edc for 20$ right??????
The fun part was trying to find info on this blade after :)
I am uploading this video on 5/30/2019 and it is still not on the big name online blade sites, so it you are intrested in it, please keep checking local #walmarts

I like the FL Series because they are cheap and great starter knives. Flash, Escape and the Aegis.

They must’ve made a grip of them and then discontinued them because their flipper makes more sense as far as design and practicality. Idk I’m just guessing haha

Hey man I got mine from blade hq but you got to search dog sale to find it I like it it's like the kershaw filter to me I thought it was running ball bearings but it's not it's cool though

I could be wrong but I think some companies have Walmart exclusive knives. Buck and Kershaw both have had models that I've only ever seen at WM. Maybe they're not on the sites because they're exclusive. Just like they wouldn't have bladehq, knifecenter, Cabela's or Snap On exclusives. They usually have a base model or similar model that's available for broad distribution but don't show all the exclusives. Take a drink every time I said exclusive(s). O_o

Pretty good point, usually there would be a “wm” some where on the product code. Or Sog just could be really different on this. 👍🏻

Have you reached out to SOG about it, to see what they say? For a $20 EDC option it looks like it will take a beating and then some. I think I actually like the thumb studs on this model over the flipper on the FLK. Lol Jason over at PMP is bout to get all kinds of practice on the paper test with his new Budget Blade Box lol.

Honestly hadn’t thought about that! Will have to do that today. And I’ll admit I’m a bit excited to see what he can do with that box. He has a crap ton of great ideas. Hope he sticks with this one

I carry this as a disposable knife. In Toronto, knives get confiscated often. I don't mind loosing this lol.

I have to say........For the price point its great....simple and does what its suppose to do....and the weight is plus to me...i like a nice heavy folder. Lets you know its there without having to do the pocket pat to check. As always great review.

this thing is heavy! I could live with that for the price. What I can't stand is nylon washers. This was the deciding factor not to buy it. Add a few more bucks and you can get Ontario Rat 1 which is exactly what I did. The Rat1 is where the better quality starts. The cheap stuff from Gerber, SOG and Kershaw is not worth bothering with.

just got one on ebay, 11.00 shipped. I love the Aegis, and the Aegis fl is just as good but cheap enough to use the heck out of. Fast opening, framelock works perfectly, reasonably sharp out of the box. I have the regular Aegis in camo w/ combo edge tanto blade. tough knife.

Cool review bro' i think you get what you paid for, its a good knife but I think they could have used a little more imagination to give that pum factor on the blade or the handle you know? but overall it's a good blade. Keep rocking bro
