I have to say, SOG has really stepped it up with the sheaths on their best current knives. That’s HUGE if actually plan on using them.

Bought the covert - big regret. Sheath has zero retention. You don't even have to tip it upside down for the knife to fall out. Even worse, there is no way to increase the retention on the smaller one. Good going SOG. Glad to see you're up to your usual ways.

The knife has to "snap in." I've seen in other videos. You're probably doing it wrong.

Please put edges on the Covert that match the rest of quality of the knife and sheath. That rough 30 degree edge on mine was ridiculously dull - pry-bar dull.

Do they still make a pentagon with one side of blade serrated and one side straight edge. ? Loved that knife.

I still have mine. Yes, it is a superb knife. Extremely maneuverable and light. Very minimal handle with rubbery surface for some grip. Excellent blade. These new ones are bloody expensive.

Top dagger but it's guard is way to small, fix this problem SOG and you will have a near perfect dagger.

I agree too. And I would greatly preferred CruWear steel to toughness AND edge retention and stability. Knowing SOG’s aversion to non-stainless blades, the Magnacut is the best choice. Those are your best steels today for durability and performance. Funny thing, the cost difference compared to S35VN is negligible. Still, I probably can make do with it. But in the near future, CruWear and Magnacut are the only 2 real choices, and hopefully SOG updates to one of those soon.

@@SOGKnives after 10 years and a 3 or four orders in that time, not one yet, the tomahawk is as sharp as the day as it came out of the factory, and I've used it to trim trees cut down saplings, and dig up roots, its almost ready for the SOG museum, I'll swap it for the latest 😎 tomahawk, love to America on your holiday of independence from Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
