Sorry I just saw you’ve done my suggestion already, so do Todds! Thank you for another Wonderful SoHyang Performance! I see my friend Todd has suggested ,”Fate”, and it is a must listen to Performances and has that distinct oriental feel with the traditional instrumentals a Her Vocal ability! My suggestion I believe to also be a Must Listen To , SoHyang Performance! I chose the winners Performance, because some find her mask and costume distracting( personally I like them ) This is one of the very few Performances were she is blonde! The EMOTION in this Performance is. Very Powerful! The song gives me a 40-50’s ,Casba in the French quarter of Morocco or Algeria, like in the Humphrey Bogart Movie, “Casablanca “! The song is,”Hug Me”, and at the end you’ll see she is over come with emotion from her own song! Notice she is sitting during this Performance! Having done limited performance the previous year or so due to pneumonia and set a record for segment wins on , “King of Masked Singer,” she was exhausted and the exertion she expelled during the rehearsals made her a little dizzy so she is sitting for safety sake! Trivial: On this stage, Sohyang performed a few songs. This was the only time when I saw her making that cute sigh at the end of a long verse. The other was I Have Nothing on the same stage. PS: I also felt that she was absolutely stunning compared to her other stages. Maybe her face conveyed a very sincere attitude and I simply fell in love with her all over again. Sohyang seemed sing the whole song with no music playing by itself. There is no gap and she filled them with adlib. Amendment : The sigh was with Dream and I Have Nothing. My bad.

한국 노래를 더 듣고 싶다 하니 소향님의 대표적인 드라마 OST "눈을 감아" 가 딱 좋을 듯 하네요. 그 녀의 중저음의 진면목을 맛 볼 수 있는 대표적인 곡이 아닐까 생각합니다.^^

I think this is her best performance of this song, so would really appreciate your linking to the video. I haven't been able to locate it again on YT or Vimeo.

So Hyang sings a beautiful song in Korean called "Fate" with traditional Korean instruments. Use the Vimeo version because it has English subtitles and has no breaks in it, unlike the RU-vid version.

내가 학창시절데 젤 좋아라 했던 노래...50년이 넘었는데도 넘 좋은 곡...아마도 외계인이나 먼 미래서 온 사람이 살짝 와서 작곡을 하고 가지 않았나 할 만큼이나, 가사나 선율이 넘 좋은 노래...50년이 아니라, 500년, 5000년.. 인류가 살아 남을 때 까지 길이길이 불려 질 곡인 듯... 문체부는 뭐 하냐...교과서 실지 않고, 뭐, 대중가요라고... 쟝르를 구분하냐...이 한심한 넘들...이런 명곡을...모른단 말인가....소향도 먼 미래까지 역사에 남을 가수...나사는 씰데없이 외계에 신호를 보낸다고 여러가지 소리를 보내지 말고, 소향의 노래를 실어 보내라 바부들아...

전설적 정훈희와 꽃밭에서를 각각으로도 너무 좋아하는 팬이지만, 이 곡을 들을 땐 청자가 양보를 해야 한단 생각. 스쿠프 과용, 스캣 변경 등 곡 해석을 그리 한 이유가 있음이 느껴지려면 원곡을 머리에서 지우고 초청 외국인이라 빙의하고 들어야 하나 익숙해지니 의외로 정훈희 버전보다 좋아하게 됐음.

나가수때가 훨씬좋은데.. 원래데로 불르면 좋은데 , 초반에 끌고 뒤에 나머지 쫓아 가듯 가사 치고 , 안그랬음 더 좋았을껄

딜ㅇ; 대한민국 국민은 아직 수준미달이라.. 김건모같은애들은 떠서 뗴돈벌고,., 소향같은 진짜 보석같은 가수는 못알아보고 허구헌날 아이돌이 만들어서 돈벌 궁리만 하니... 소향같은 진짜 몇세기 나올까말까 하는 여가수를 못알아봐서 안타깝네요. 차라리 소향이 미국에서 태어났으면 엄청난 가수로 떳을텐데요

갠적으로 좋아하는 무대는 아니었네요 좀 아쇱죠 음 밴딩안하고 담담하게 불렀으면 더 좋았을텐데...^^
