Boy oh boy,,,, I love this , best on RU-vid by far.....there is one thing you can do,,,underneath build a steel track that a frame with several 5 gallon buckets can roll under the shaker. And fill up. Or build a couple steel guides the the material can fall into and fill buckets up ,,
I like your heavy duty screen...did you order it...and what size or name of screen..? The shaker part is interesting but may need a little adjustment....
Sorry I can’t remember where I got the mesh it’s been over 10 years and I only built the one. On a machine like this the mesh would last forever, it is extra heavy duty and only in a light duty application.
I used a 2 1/2 inch shaft and machined the bearing ends with a 1/4 off centre eccentric to make it shake. It would do 4-5 yards per hour with the 5/16 inch screen but would do a lot more if I put a 1/2 inch or bigger final screen in.
It was a one off I built for my business, there were $5000 in materials but if you had to ad in my labour it would be $12000-$14000 I would think. I’m in Australia by the way.
