Although, the soil is not always the cause of mortality, in fact, it's one of the least cause of mortality in snail farming, although we cannot rule out the huge stress soil brings to snail farming, yet we must know that overall snail farm setup, unchecked temperature and moisture are the highest causes of snail mortality.
