I wait anxiously for all these videos, but Prayva has definitely been my favorite guest star so far! She knows all the products and ingredients so well, and she's the only one that can keep up with Charlotte's energy! Hope to see you again, Prayva!
Charlotte. I am a huge fan of Then I Met You line. On my wishlist for 2020: serum, eye cream, sheet mask(s),mist, cream, peeling gel or pads, physical sunscreen (chemical sunscreens break me out) and then an Only Good Skin Days Ahead routine posting featuring all products!.
Pretty sure any dermatologist would tell you that it is very common to develop a contact dermatitis with essential oils and that is why they are considered unnecessary and potentially harmful ingredients (especially when included for the purpose of fragrance)
Charlotte, I just LOVE your videos! 💛 You are so knowledgeable and I love how you dig into the science 🧬🧪and deliver it in a way that is easy to understand. I’m a SokoGlam gal for life! 😎
I look forward to these videos. I like the breakdown of all the products and the ingredients and what they do. And Prayva's skin is radiant and beautiful! It's hard to believe she had acne. I've had an unwelcome breakout for 2 weeks now. Thankfully that doesn't happen all the time. Please bring Prayva back for future videos please? Her personality is so sweet. And she is very knowledgeable about the products. The product from Acwell with the peony extract had the most of my attention because peonies are one of my favorite flowers. I didn't even know the extract was put in any skincare products. Btw love the BTS facts. And Charlotte your skin looks beautiful per usual 🙂
Really a great curation, thank you! Looking forward to trying the Leaders cleansing balm as well as the line patch. FYI, Love, Love, Love all Klairs products ♥️ Soko Glam truly ROCKS...I have never been disappointed with any one of the products~~~~💞
@@talisolmedina3300 So agreed, gentle on skin yet effective results... I've seen a skin transformation using the freshly juiced vitamin drop, the freshly juiced vitamin E mask that I use as a moisturizer, the youthful glow sugar mask and the midnight blue calming cream...skinsensational ♥️
Charlotte I love that sweater and would love to have one myself haha, I always wanted to suggest the idea that soko glam also sold merch like (caps, hoodies, tote bags, shirts) I would totally buy them to represent SG 😍👍🏻 great video as always can’t wait for next months curations!
well yes you may develop intolerance for any substance but niacimide may be helpful to your skin while fragrance is completely unnecessary in a skin care product, that is the point. Then I agree demonising ingredients is childish, we should evaluate pros and cons and make our own decision, that is all I guess.
Hi Soko Glam team, I have a random question, what music is playing in the background? I love it! Great curation video too and love the vibe between Prayva and Charlotte.
Happy 2020 guys, I do like Acwell toner, how does the cushion work on Prayva’s skin tone.. .?Always good to hear of brands I’ve not tried like Atrue; I’ve been waiting for the micro needle under eye patches,'''! 👀 👀🎖 personally I’d rather have fragrance free inc EO free as well as CF on the basis of having highly atopic skin and the build up of potential irritants building up over time to cause sensitisation on leave on skincare,. 😻
kinda disappointed to hear Charlotte, a person with a certain degree of authority when it comes to skincare, ask "why are essential oils demonized?" ummmm, maybe because they have absolutely no skin benefits and are present just for the sensorial experience? also, if I had to choose between having essential oils or fragrance synthesized in the lab, I'd choose the latter, as essential oils also have botanic compounds that can be very irritating to the skin. please do more research and don't misinform your consumer base for the purpose of pushing product. consumers may not have issues at the time of usage, but irritation and inflamation is a cumulative process that might one day bite them in the ass and they wake up with not being able to use any products that have fragrance.
And they can cause/attribute to sensitivities later on. Essential oils belong in oil burners NOT on the skin. They have zero nourishing properties so other than creating, in my opinion, gratuitous scents, why even include them? Brands need to stop sliding them into skin products.
I was really disappointed to hear Charlotte say, "but they are natural..." Cyanid is also natural. Using essential oils can sensitize the skin at anytime (more common as we age) and make you allergic to everything that is with the oil. This is a legit cause of why some people get contact dermatitis from actives.
Sometimes I do. Cleansing oil, foam, and micellar water. Or 2 foam washes in additional to cleansing oil. Its like I have to absolutely know that everything is off my face lol. You're

As I need my cleansing oil/balm to remove eye make up, can the Leaders balm be used on the eye area? I'm concerned about the exfoliating balls causing damage to my eye area AND getting into my eyes.
You probably shouldn't use this around your eye area because it is an physical exfoliator but I'm not an expert so you should probably fact check that.
@@talisolmedina3300 you're absolutely right. This ought to be called an "exfoliating scrub", NOT a balm. I like oil and balms for cleansing, and I can do my eyes. Then, if I need to, I will use a gentle exfoliator - in the chemical form. xx
If you're looking for a balm that can work for face and eyes, we'd recommend Banila Co Clean It Zero rather than the Leaders Milk Peel Cleansing Balm. The Leaders cleansing balm shouldn't be used on the eye area and lip area!
