Solano Canyon Community Garden 

The Solano Canyon Community Garden is a 5 acre garden located in downtown Los Angeles on a hillside, where we have 2 programs: For 39 gardeners the Community Garden is an Oasis in the concrete jungle. By demonstrating the value of growing healthy foods free of synthetic chemicals, we hope to inspire greater participation in urban organic gardening.
Our other program, a Restaurant Supported Agriculture system and internship/education program is in cooperation with 4 local restaurants. The restaurants get locally grown, fresh, organic produce with same day delivery. Our Interns are from an at risk program.
