I was originally gonna go see it in Buffalo, but I'm really glad I checked the weather and decided to go to Cleveland instead.

People in Buff-town certainly would have watched it... if not for the CLOUDS! But one must wonder... Can it really be a "coincidence"? If it is, it'd be the coincidence to end all coincidences! There is an incredibly mind-blowing size difference in our Sun compared to our Moon. Yet in perspective with the distance between them, they are EXACTLY the same size to where the Moon can perfectly cover the Sun!

It is a pretty amazing coincidence isn't it? But it won't always be that way. The moon is actually slowly receding away from Earth by about an inch and a half per year and eventually total solar eclipses won't be possible anymore because the moon will be too far away to completely block out the sun. But that won't happen for about 700 million years lol.
