For her solo album I think she was in charge mostly of the outfits. She said she’s been collecting stage outfits when shopping instead of casual clothes. Plus it helps that her sister works in the clothing industry.

I remember when Mamamoo tried lip sync and it was terrible (New York (Song) Live performance)

I think its lip synk, you hear it if the lips are touching the live mic and the air that is produced live, non of these indicators are hearable. Also there are parts when she doesnt even try to sync cause it is a backing track and there are no differences between these parts and her "singing" at the transitions. And at 1:31 she does not even have the mic at her mouth. I believe, she actually is able to sing, but it was a TV show propably not having the equipment and they concentrated at dancing. No hate, just my observation.

I know, there is a live performance, um which you're able able to hear the differences, I am not into this kind of music, so I can't tell you which one it was, but at least at that performance, I think, it was a backing track and she sang some of the parts life. Anyways, I think she is able to sing, but in this kind of music, the focus is clearly put to the dancing performance.
