Solar Myths 

I never saw the point of panels on the roof, when i see them on the roof i assume its a useless grid tie system, off grid with a ground mount rack is the only way to go

I bought cheap used panels and mounted them on a part of my roof that gets more shade than I would like, It makes sense for my small property. the ground is kept open for growing food. the panels might produce more if they were not on the house but the ground my house sits on could produce more food if my house wasn't there also

You would need to reach out to the specific panel manufacturer. Each is going to have processes related to their warranty.

The rabies vaccine was developed in France. I'm not suggesting you send your dog to France to get a shot. As companies work out successful recycling strategies, the process will be adopted worldwide. Again, there is no plan whatsoever to handle coal ash or nuclear waste beyond "bury it and pray".

@@wesshank5595 Nuclear power is certainly a deadly hidden "thing" that will cause damage for hundreds of thousands of years to unsuspecting life. Coal though. It's dirty but that is about it. Eliminating fast foods and sodas would make our planet much better than stopping useful fossil fuels. I'm all for what makes economic sense. In many areas solar is far and away more economical than fossil fuels. Solar on that house... will it ever pay for itself? I doubt it!

Then by all means, let me be specific. To say they do not end up in landfills would be a lie. My crunch bar wrapper ends up in the landfill. But to try and say this is some downside in relation to what coal ash does is no comparison. If you would like to refute the coal ash problem and how it is a better problem to have than a panel that will probably be recycled, I'm all ears.

Landfills are lined with a thick rubber and the gases that come from decomposing gets captured and mixed with natural gas

No good storage? I have 2 48 volt LIFEPO4 batteries at 105 amp hours a piece and they sustain me even in the winter in pennsylvania without much trouble as long as i can get 4 hours of good sun im good to go
