I've got the p1 not pro and I have to use the red button for accelerate and only my front wheel spins and I cant use the lever by the speedometer to accelerate is thst a setting?
P1 pro would be way better if it had the same handle bar layout as the r1 as at high speeds these folding bars and height adjustment is awful feels unsafe as hell feels and looks cheap and tacky same as the p1 both would be way better with new bars same or Similar to the r1 so I say r1 for that reason is better at same price and same top speed aswell defo r1
I prefer the design of the R1 for sure.. especially with the longer deck there... but it looks alot more top heavy being that much taller off the ground than the P1 Pro..
@@SolarScootersuk There are numerous things that can fix this though especially coming from riding full suspension mountain bikes.. and thats adjustable supension.... get the front and rear cranked down for road.. Not sure what type suspension the R1 has though as you dont clarify that on your website..
how many miles would you realistically get from standard p1, i know it wont get 30 miles since that is more than likely the mileage it'll get while on lowest settings, so realistically how far will it go on max settings, turbo mode on, dual motors, and mode 3.
@@SolarScootersuk I have the p1 and it has a bit of wobble in the handlebar, since the R1 is not adjustable height and handlebar doesn't fold I think it would be more stable. It's a really hard choice.
@@SolarScootersuk would u agree they are placed higher than most scooters out there or does it just look that way? I really wanted the r1 but the handlebar height puts me off as I'm a shorter rider but I love the swing arm suspension over the quad spring. Such a shame ans would be easy enough to make them adjustable like the rest no?
@@SolarScootersuk ok cool thanks for the swift replies... well I'm only an inch shorter so maybe it's ok.. love the styling and saw your head to head video against the p1 pro and rightly as u say it's just preference of rider... I prefer the travel you get on the swing arm suspension...Quad srings as u said are decent and likely more stable at higher speed this making it accelerate that had quicker as the swing arms absorb so much to give better ride quality.. I go our for hours on mine so I like the better ride over stiffer ride.. 50mph is quick enough lol likely only ever touch that here and there just to know how it feels and to know it does actually do that speed.. Great looking scooter and Jake billing even said it was the best scooter he had likely ever tried... solar scooters are sick.... if I could get finance I'd buy one today 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks again for all the feedback.. means alot
@@MrTerryparker Solar made their swingarms yellow, upped the battery ah slightly and added a steering damper and flashy lights on the side. Call it the FF lite now. Still getting the R1 from Envirorides and saving a few quid.
