As an environmental scientist, I can't say how much I applaud your efforts! If the shutdown shows one thing, it's that we need to reduce pollution and coal is the worst form of energy production when it comes to pollution. There is no such thing as clean coal.

Great points! I'm installing a 12kw system for my house and If all goes well I'm doing a small one to cover my business. Expected to cover 100% of my residential usage. Just jumping into this project but I look forward to seeing solar become even more inviting. WV is not favorable to solar politically. Luckily for the fed itc and cost of solar is plummeting. Keep up the great work! People say it will never pay off but I think it will. My investment will be covered in 6 years but that's a DIY system so no labor costs. I look forward to sharing my system and knowledge to help others in taking the plunge. From the beginning I have recorded every question I ever had. I'm going to turn it into a Q and A sheet and maybe do a video on it. In the grand scheme of things we may think its not saving the planet but if it saves me money and helps reduce carbon emissions then hurray!
I am more concerned with the purity, the quantity, the density and the pressure with which oxygen in the air is present. I still believe that projects such as solar farms should not be promoted for now, and only when the technology of photovoltaic cells has been significantly improved and when electrochemical storage systems have been improved and experienced a significant decrease in their prices. It is also only sell smoke for the moment, the photovoltaic serves well to alleviate pollution but only locally (where it is used and in remote areas that live coal and that is the problem). At my university, we debated whether truly "green" proposals really exist to meet the energy needs of modern society, but we conclude that if we were to implement current technologies to the fullest, we would only get a reduction in the quality of life. Unfortunately only represent a chimera for now, I have no choice but to remain a nihilist for now hahaha (it's a joke). Remember that Elon retired from the panel business because there is not much money for now but in the future when the science of materials gives us something better hahaha Elon HE WILL BE BACK !!! For now, we only have to get on the Bilderberg train (no conspiracy theory, just a joke about the new green agenda) and try to sell like Elon !! If there isn't an increased demand for the systems to improve, they will do so slowly. To do nothing is as bad, if not worse than advocating for more coal fired energy production.
