Sang Suwan is the first pure solar powered boat that use for coastal tourism. She has been operated since December 2016 around Koh Mak. Although she cruises at only 4-5 knot, all of her customers appreciate quiet and smooth ride so they can enjoy the nature as well as chatting among family and friends.

2x3 Kw induction motors but usually use only 1.5 Kw each

All the focus is on solar power boats but it seems like the ocean would be perfect for a wind power boat. Also, a wind power boat can still be used on a cloudy day and at night. But I guess it would be difficult to install a wind turbine on a boat.🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂😂

3.5x7.5 meter, cruise at 4.5 knots at 3 Kw.

Hello Christian, thank you for your interest in my solar boat.I am pleased to answer;3 x 345 W solar panels - LG,2 x 180 Ah batteries,1200 W / 24 V motor, weight of the boat approx. 750-800 kg.The speeds I reach are 2 to 4 knots, but it depends on the water conditions. It happens that in very good conditions I swim about 5 knots, but I do not take this into account because it is temporary and I cannot always achieve it.The boat is fully autonomous, I haven't charged the batteries with electricity in the water yet. In winter, when I had them in my garage, I recharged them to keep them energized . Best regards George
