When i first saw the "awakened" Solar Eclipse Leona, i've remembered Diana's quote: "The sun does not reveal truth. Its light only burns and blinds.". Now, look closely to SE Leona's eyes. See what i mean?

I feel like Lunar is better because the colours are extremely different to other Leona skin which make the skin more unique and better .

Her dance is the best part of these for me. The music box is so wonderful.

i wish the purple was a little more saturated so it didnt seem like just a black skin at first glance. the orange is much more visible but theyre still both awesome skins! keep up the good work

I understand that Diana's been getting quite a few skins lately, but I'm still confused as to why they didn't pair these up, considering it's like the perfect opportunity to do a VS event like Dawnbringer vs Nightbringer or the Godkings.

I think these skins had to be together. And would be great their mechanic function with the day time in real life, like if i play with the skin at Night, there appear me the dark Leona and the other for day. But im just dreaming.

I didn’t even realize until these skins that Leona’s W is literally called Eclipse and that the circle around her when you use it is an actual Eclipse occuring, exploding when the sun is fully covered. Also anyone else think her shield and weapon kinda look like a Charge Blade from monster hunter?

They should make the Lunar skins particles pop more, the solar one is so bright and the lunar one just falls short a little bit.

They should have made it so this skin can alternate between night and day and give the player the chance to change what is shown at which day cycle they missed an opportunity here

Well I'm getting both, and when I have a Diana on my team or the enemy's, I'll just say I joined the Lunari. Would be cool if Leona betray her Order to be with Diana as Heretic of the Lunari.

This should be an ultimate skin, where you can switch between those 2 forms.

I feel like Diana deserves an Eclipse skin as well (or a pair I would prefer), after all, you need both the Sun and the Moon aligned for an Eclipse.

It would have been cool if this was all in one skin. They could have made it based on k/d ratio throughout the game. so beginning when you're 0/0/0 it could have looked more eclipse like with a muted light spilling out around her dark silhouette and as you gain kills/assists you turn more solar eclipse and if you get killed more you turn more lunar or something. That would have been AWESOME if they could have done that. Not sure how difficult that would be. But it would be kinda cool to have a skin that changes because of what status you're in at that particular part of the match. The closest two that I know of that's like that is Sona because her song slightly changes as you play during her DJ skin and Lux because in her Elementalist skin your ability to transform is based on your ability to hit skill shots in order to fill your meter and transform. But neither of them actually change because of your standing in the match. THAT would have been amazing ^^!

To all the people saying this should have been a Versus between Leona and Diana. I think they didn't do that, because even though Leona and Diana might be equally powerful lore wise, the same thing can't be said for these two gameplay wise. Leona is a Support/Tank while Diana is a Mage/Assassin while the previous Versus involved two Bruisers and two Tanks.

I exchanged 3 skins for a new permanent, this is what I got. time to play lunar leona.

This again could have a been a VS event. Lunar Eclipse Diana VS Solar Eclipse Leona. Or vise versa.... Like WTF riot... Not a bad skin just... Missed opportunity...
