Lovely yacht and really spacious. By the way, I really like Nick’s Aquaholic videos but obviously he covers mostly the UK and European boat shows. I love your laidback style and I’d love to see you monopolize that formula here in the states where the boating culture has its own uniqueness and boating types depending on the region. What I don't get is why is the furniture not up against the outer bulkheads (4:06 starboard side)? seems to me you make the walk way to the deck small on one side and wider on the other to give you more room inside.. But then don't move the furniture up to it? But still.. I like this one.. I could see myself cruising the sound all summer long in this... Very nice boat..
I liked this one a lot, but now that you mention it, I do see where the saloon is not hard against the windows. I see a vent back there, so it may be to do with the AC as well as the vacuum system, but not 100% sure to be honest. It certainly felt spacious enough onboard that I never noticed at the time.
@@robbbbbie12 I was talking about the couches in the living area.. look at 4:06 on the starboard side behind the couch. That was what I was wondering about.. looks like just a heater vent there which they could have put anywhere.. Still, this is a nice boat.. I like the lay out and the bridge especially..
@@robbbbbie12 Oh yeah.. I see what you mean. that was a good idea.. But I went back to the video and below that is the master and there is just a window box and a flat celling.. the strange thing about it is there is a drop down cut out like you would expect to see but on the port side? which makes me believe that area up in the living area is just a vent and made for nothing else.. Which doesn't make sense.. take a look and see if I have missed anything.. it starts about 10:21.. I am real curious now
I agree with you, a prestige would definitely be on my short list. I have watched Nick from aquaholics review these boats in the UK and he is very impressed with the product they put out. I wonder what mileage would be if you drop it back to 10 or 12 knots. That would be the ideal boat to run the Bahama chain.
Nick does great reviews as well. I have watched many of his videos over the years. As to the range, I read online tonight that the Prestige 550 with the same engines at 10 knots does around 400 miles at 11.8 gallons per hour. I would assume give or take, this one would be in the same ball park in the right conditions.
@@stanleymasterson1135 I would recommend training, but you don't need a license and technically you don't NEED training. It's not like a car for example
