Someone got themselves a gorgeous little craft, capable of nipping in and out of tight spaces and secluded inlets. While it probably gulps fuel pretty good on a fast plane, if you treated it like a displacement vessel, saving the get-up-n-go to avoid or get out of weather that’s very nice to have when needed. We’ve had the 100 hp smaller brother of this Yamaha for the last 10 years and they are absolutely a fantastic engine. Terrific fit and finish on this boat and clever use of small spaces. Love it!

As someone looking for a new'ish 25'-30' planing hull boat, I always struggle with the 'Ranger Option'. This detailed (as always!) review highlights many features, options and cosmetic sizzle they offer, squeezing 5 quarts into a gallon container. Still, I want seakeeping and coastal waters practicality and the displacement and that tulip-shaped bow (for the big V-berth) leave me imagining lots of bouncing underway and rolly at anchorage. Unfair? Another excellent review, Garnock.

Thank you Garnock Reviews, This is a sweet little boat from the Ranger Tugs line the smallest I believe but looks great a super rare find in Europe thats a shame Thanks again a nice show

Here's a smaller Ranger on passage from the Florida Keys to Bimini. Marketed as a 20 knot boat, you can see the reality of this hull when faced with smaller seas on passage. Subtracting the Gulf Stream, they were motoring at 5 knots or so. Still, they were having a ball on their first big crossing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bxb3FCX8wbI.html

Nice find! I've heard of people doing the Great Loop on Rangers. They are so well designed for their size, I can see why people would consider them.
