Nice car, front to finish. Love the orange with black stripes. 1st gen. Camaros are the best looking muscle cars still to this day! I have a 68 myself and love it. Thanks for the info!
The 'Camaro' emblem is in the incorrect place on the left fender, and the Z/28 badge is wrong on the left fender. The rear stripes are wrong. I didn't see D80 on the cowl tag, so it's a spoiler delete car.
@@WeBeAutosLtd Very Nice. I like you put the standard silver grill. Most restorations have the black SS grill which is not correct for a non Rally Sport Camaro.
@@michaeldavis5775 You are correct about the silver grill. The black grill originally came when the RS package was ordered on a Z/28. However many people changed the standard silver grill for the SS black grill when doing a restoration.
Headers are an option, installed by dealer. Pretty car. It at least has a 4 speed...many people stick an automatic in a Camaro, and slap z28 badges on it...if you're going to spend $100K , you'd better do your research...
my dad has an all original 1969 z/28 camaro with like minor chips on the paint. But my dad is gonna sell it with its original color. So everything is basically original.
As beautiful as this car is, if it was ordered with a console, the clock went to the center instrument pod above the steering wheel. Per the guru Jerry McNeish. I've owned two and Jerry answered a lot of my questions.
@@kennydemartini2169, That's true. The "Tick-Tock-Tac", as it was collectively called did not come as part of the "Deluxe Interior" package which brought the console, (and stirrup shifter for automatic transmissions). The clock was a separate accessory that was ordered, and if you got the tachometer as well, the clock was installed in the small center panel between the speedometer, and tachometer. My 69 Camaro had the custom interior, but not the clock, or the tachometer. It was loaded with options, but the clock and tachometer were not included.
Kids probably did not want it because they were built for high rpm use which is not user friendly around town thus when driven at low rpms they run like crap. The dude was a liar as well. How many times did he say just as factory, just like when new, etc etc. Okay then for the obvious as an example, originally it had a black vinyl top, after restoration no vinyl top. If he would lie about something so in your face then imagine what else he's lying about that is harder to discern. All liars need to be throat punched.
I’m sure it’s full of all repro parts. Nothing original Gm on it except the drive train and frame and a couple pieces of glass. Not a fan of over restored cars.
