Looks nice! Just one correction though: The beige material on any of the Apaches from the 70's isn't fiberglass, but ABS plastic. Pretty common mistake.

I'm not wanting to sell it...I just want anyone thinking about a vintage camper..that if they look at mine it would be worth the drive to go look at one for sale out of state. I just love ours! They are so neat and easy! If just hubby and I , WE TRY to take one of our little "drag queen" teardrop we build that basically has the same lift roof idea and the bedside pops out with a table and two cube benches..and the kitchen slides out right side. The drag Queen's are built with a not to the awesome ingenuity years ahead of its time in the hard side apache..but less than half the weight so my ancient jeep with a pavilion miles , a prius or people whom hit outdoor music festivals or chase storms can use them. So much better than a teardrop with a shower and potty room on inside tongue and not have to crawl in and out of. We seem to sell the drag Queen's BEFORE. we quite get them finished so the Apache has been a lifesaver! I would love for anyone considering yours and the drive there..to see how really nice they are and hurry to give the one for sale a good home. There is a great website www.fiberglassrv.com that also has free classifieds if you want to list there. I also have a very rare 1964 Alite Atomic fiberglass camper we Airbnb..and use for company. The only one I've seen besides mine is in a museum. My hubby says it will be a custody. Battle for the Apache (we call it the dreamcatcher) since it is so much cheaper and easier to haul it with my jeep vs. Fighting a 100amp monster that needs a $80,000 diesel and very expensive diesel fuel to pull and a hassle to set up. I'd love to see any future Apaches you save. I've. Just got a 68 Apache. It' sorta small and a very simple tent top..but I'm excited to see if we can save it. This could be pulled my a motorcycle...just another of our loves! Just loved your camper and your joy in all the good times you had in it and you were willing to share this little jewel with some other luck family. There is almost a cult following of these Apaches. Your grandparents were already hip to these BEFORE they became a trend. So many lost..but you saved yours! Think your grandpa is somewhere up there smiling?
