That color combination is wonderful, those are some nice cars and the 350 V6 has some decent power. I had a 05 E320 that was very nicely optioned it was a stunning car.
This is the video made me a follower of your channel Bill. I had this same E class in a beautiful blue color. What a trip to see how much you’ve changed over the years, in a positive way of course.
Bill before the Coronavirus Whisky turned an 8-minute video into 30+ minutes of pure joy. The history of the car and the manufacturer accompanied by the chipper Canadians, the birds, the kids in the trunk, the goats, Dalton the Detailer,...
These are amazing cars, they are super reliable, so quiet, and decently fast, I've got two friends one has 150,000 miles, one who had 180,000 miles, spark plugs and coil packs seem to be a weak spot but keep it maintained and it will treat you well. The engines were produced for so long the parts are quite cheap, just change your oil often, make sure the transmission fluid is changed, and join Mercedes forums👌💯
Would you recommend this car as a daily driver for a first time buyer or for like a student? I’m planning on buying a nice older luxurious car like this. I have a few choices, so far I have a top 5 list. I want something that is pretty reliable. Not overly expensive to fix & or maintain. Something that even tho it’s old it’s still somewhat modern & looks sophisticated & luxurious, but at the same time it’s reliable & sportyish & has some pep to it so it’s not extremely slow. The cars that I narrowed down for a top 5 list is as follows in no particular order; 1. 2003-2011 Mercedes Benz E-class(not sure if there is any upgrades through out the years) 2. 2003-2011 BMW 5-Series preferred is a 2008-2011 535i. During those model years they got some minor interior & exterior upgrades so that’s why I prefer those last few years. They got front & rear LED lighting, the electronic gear shifter & a few other things. 3. 2004-2011 Cadillac STS (I had a 2007 year model which I loved, also after 2008 they got a minor but imo important facelift as well as some interior changes. Mainly where the stereo is at. I’d really prefer the Northstar V8, but I won’t say no to a V6 version of one of them. 4. 2012 Infiniti G37 5. 2011 Lexus GS 350 Honorable mention 2008-2013 Cadillac CTS 2010 Acura TL 2013 Lincoln MKZ 2013 Ford Taurus 2014 Audi A6 2014+ Cadillac CTS
My car was towed from my apartment complex the other day and when I purchased the car a lil over a week and a half ago the car would lower and lift itself when needed to when I got it back the driver side fog lamp was broken and now the car does not lower or rise on it's own like it use to what could be the reason and do you think it's a fault of the tow truck company???. If so please let me know so I can address it he issue
This was the last truly stylish and elegant E-Class shape, after that all MB models started looking the same. IMHO black is the only suitable interior colour, a brownish steering wheel/dash/upper door trim just doesn't look great.

@@visionist7 Ahhh, mine will be my sister's first car. I'm letting her use it so long as she pays rego, fuel and comprehensive insurance. Me I'm working on my 05 156 sportwagon in Alfa red with tan interior. I feel I'm also on the cusp of getting into a W220, which would be my first MB. Hmmmm
Value for money in high numbers here... Build like tanks and in USA you could almost call this engine economical 👌😂 In UK its only if you have deep pockets👌 My mate has 320cdi Remaped just the right performance for such a chunky bit of German steel and still getting 40 uk mpg👆
Mine is identical, just an 08 and white. But its easy to see the interior thru the tint since its so light colored, but I love the car! I literally get atleast a compliment on it every single day. No joke.
Exterior color is beautiful but I don't like the wood they used on the dash. A darker rosewood would have been much classier. Just my opinion....don't get mad.
