I have this car. Bought it brand new in 2007. Still runs well and looks nice. The only complaint I have is that the back support pillars are impossible to see around, so if you want to change lanes you kinda have to just pray no one will hit you lol. Also this car doesn't have a turn radius. I need a whole football field to make a u turn. It was basically built to go fast straight.

I just bought this car today. Its a pretty nice car but i'm not a fan of the body styling though. The sound with the sub woofer is excellent. the car is very small inside especially in the back, so if you have a family or a lot of friends i wouldn't recommend this car, i'm about 6'2 so anyone behind me is screwed.My previous car was a 04 Mitsubishi Eclipse and it was a very nice car that I had since high school so i hate to see it go, but this car is a decent upgrade from the 04. I was thinking about getting the 08 Nissan Altima 2.5s , but the eclipse just had a better price tag and I needed a car in a hurry so i'm stick with the eclipse for awhile.
With the vast aftermarket these things have, bodykit headlights, eyelids, spoiler you got yourself something comparable to a 350/370z or something else of the sorts. Things have lots of potential most don't know about.
Just bought an 08 Eclipse Spyder in super condition. What a nice convertible! Looks super cool with a great, comfortable ride. Nothing like the top down experience on those nice days. Only complaint is the blind spots - bad on the coupe - even worse with the convertible. Fortunately, living in SC, the top is down more than up. Also, it was dirt cheap - Mitsubhisi's have crummy resale which you should use to your advantage when looking for a used one.
I still want one of these and they have gotten cheap around my area too. My 2002 lancer has about 281K and is still running strong. Only problem has been a Window regulator on the driver side that just broke 2 weeks ago.
The body style only lasted for about 6 years, which is relatively normal. It's not like the Civic has really changed in the past 9 years. They just keep refining it, and sharpening the looks, hoping no one will notice.
+SophiaPetrillosBuddy The civic has been through 2 different generations and multiple refreshes in the last nine years with a 2016 model on the way too......meanwhile the Lancer has been pretty much unchanged since 2007.
+Jakeman21642 Honda has still maintained a similar look to the Civic from generation 8 to 9, with no major aesthetic changes - only a sharper fascia and tail light design. Although the new generation may be a larger jump, like generation 7 to 8. And I believe Mitsubishi is in the process of revamping their cars, if they continue producing the Lancer.
Yeah i was laughing the whole time he said that lol if he put the seat all the way back he would have been cramped as hell. kinda sad they gotta lie about certain things
The 2012 Eclipse GT's and SE's are pretty nice, imo. It definitely aged better than the Galant that was around longer. You can pick one up too for not much money.

(Edit) 4:47 it looks like he has enough room but trust me it’s uncomfortable sitting 4 people in that car! I took 3 of my friends to the lake and I sat sooo close to the steering wheel like an old man💀
i dont know if anyone will read this but worth a try, im planning on buying a used eclipse, the announcer says its a 2008 however im not quite sure of that specially because of 2 things, it doenst have the eclipse lettering in the back, and the exhausts are exposed, not under the chassis like this one or several ive seen on the internet, is there anyway to tell the difference between models?
The interior is ugly . The center stack and gauges look horrendous. I like the exterior the interior just don't match the car at all . Looks like a dodge neon interior from the 90s
Haha looks basic compared to mine leather seats heated seats at that convertible after market halo lights in front and back, flat blk helo 17' wheels convertible mine BLOWS this one out of the water same color though
