Many people don’t view the beetle as a classic because it’s not a v8 American muscle car. The new model beetles holds the same vehicle mystic as say a mustang or camaro because the manufacture transitioned the body style of the “older classics” to the new versions. The beetle is among the best to do this as the body style has relatively remained the same with the more advanced modern look. That along with the power plant, the best possible engine 2.0t and duel clutch transmission WITH the option of manual versions, makes this car highly optimizable in performance. Nothing “girly” about a big turbo 2.0t gapping whatever pedestrian car you have. Let alone the power to weight ratio of a upgraded and tuned beetle to be able to go door to door with a mustang gt.
