Nice, but who can afford those kind of prices( over 2 and half million dollars). An average home here in Switzerland where I live is around a million francs and not many people can even afford those prices. Even though our wages are higher then in Canada to compensate for the higher cost of living. You also have the upkeep, property taxes... When I worked in Canada I was making 11 dollars an hour , have wages gone up so much to justify the price of this home!
Prices depend on where in Canada the house is located. Vancouver is probably the most expensive place to buy a home in Canada followed by the Toronto area. A small detached that needs full renovations is probably around $1M+ Cdn. in either city. These are the most desirable major cities for most people hence the prices. I don't know how long ago you were in Canada but $11/hr is basically minimum wage. I was making that as a university student 30 yrs. ago. I think most introductory skilled labour would be almost three times that amount today.
I like it all. But whats wrong with this " Americans"that cant build a propper kitchen big enough Even if the living room have to be elsewhere . KITCHEN IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS . ALL AROUND CABINETS ..MIDDLE ISLAND PLUS IF IN THE LIVING ROOM A Bar for family to eat friends ..
