They ready did a great job with bin cards. My only issue was the bins were very tight so browsing was not easy to do David

I just need to slow down at times and really spend some time in the racks

I know of another record store only 4 miles away next to a place that makes great empanadas!

I have done pretty good not buying much at r3cord stores Jack. Honestly I just never take enough time to browse through the racks. I think I just need to slow down at times.

I wish I had room for concert posters Michael, I could really get into them! Are you having a relaxing summer? Finding any good finds in your digging? You are one of the best diggers I know, you tend to find gold while I find pyrite lol

@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Working a lot and studying too. Just got back from Traverse City. I found some good finds, but it’s not like before. Mainly enjoyed the equipment from 45rpm. I’ll fill you in later on the records.

Mike, luckily I eat at my desk, takes about 2 minutes and then I start working again lol. It was a nice store but a lot of new and I really like finding used treasures. That said I have gone back, found one album I have yet to meet the owner. Slowly hitting smaller record stores in my travels.

I do like a place that is well organized Tony. I always seem to be in a hurry so I like to understand quickly how things are laid out

Steve it is always interesting what people see when I do these flips. So often I pass stuff and I got people watching questioning my sanity The stereo equipment is always interesting. I am by far no expert I just like stuff that looks cool, a big fan of lights lol. I know a ton of people like Kiss so I do that for the masses!

Steve, I do like it all put together so I can see everything all at once but that is because I do buy a lot of new. I will pass along your thoughts to the mgmt as you are The Zonkman!

Kind of weird, you walk in expecting an empty store as it is Sold Out records and instead find a jam packed store. Pretty confusing My dad bought a stereo that had a 8 track player, I was so excited. I never did buy an 8 tracks and he sure has heck never bought one so it was never used. Glad I never got into 8 tracks Doug

I do find a lot of RSD in my travels Dom. All these albums that were suppose to have sold out keep showing up. Even my store back in Midland was able to get albums that had become hard to find. I guess they keep finding boxes in the warehouse

It is newer Tyce and close to work, if you like poster I highly recommend it. More new than used I felt but still nice store just a little too tight

Weird isn’t it. I go into the store expecting empty shelves because they are sold out and instead I found packed bins, what the heck! Glad you liked that music courtesy of YT, sometimes it is crappy but this was some nicer stuff for once. I didn’t buy much but enjoyed myself

Art, he does sell on the internet but not sure about discogs. Prices were okay, but not great. It was very organized which I really liked

So many people are moving to CDs, takes less room and you can get a lot more music. I have visited a few record stores where they now have more CDs than albums. It is easier and cheaper for them to get and the customers are buying it up. I had 1000s of CDs but lost them in the flood so when I started over about 4 years ago I went vinyl.

You are a person who bought the album for the art, I get that. I did not convert to CDs until 1990 when I could no longer find vinyl. I took forever because I liked the large art on an album, it was great to look at. I still front face an album in my bins to so I can see the covers

I’ve been to Angelo’s in Aurora but I hear there is one south I need to check out. The posters were very cool

@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 yeah he has some cool pieces, but the shop was super ultra claustrophobic small when I went, and the prices to me were at or slightly above top dollar, except his new bootlegs that were under $30. Yes, Angelo's on South Broadway is like the old Independent Records vibe-wise. They have tons of vinyl downstairs. Every so often you will find a gem in their used 45/woodpile area. Some out of print rock posters in the back upstairs (licensed and non) and lots of knick knacks. The pricey and rare vinyl is behind the counter upstairs however. You should also check out the 80's/90's store across the street ("5280's", it is awesome), but make sure to check the hours of both before going. The Angelo's in Aurora used to be ok, last time I went it was a lot of closeout junk (like hippy blankets and incense burners) and it did not have a good selection of rock (but we all know in record stores that can change daily). Hope to see a review of the South Broadway Angelo's soon on your channel!

Most are, put RSD on it and Jack the price up. I did find some that are are reasonable and some store have put them on sale to move them out. Most places just keep them for years

They did have a lot those dividers. It does help,if you’re in a hurry like I often am. I can scan for groups I am interested in quickly and then move on. It is a hassle to keep organized though

It does happen once in awhile. I need more time to explore

Wow that is amazing to have that many stores so close and then you help out in one shop. I’m just always to exhausted to go but that is getting better Mark. Now it is about budget as we try to adjust to living in Denver and what we can spend. For the most part I have slowed down in part to not having the Vinyl Douche getting me to buy records lol
