Glad you mentioned the 'if it was an efco' cause that is who made it I believe. Just got green paint instead of red. It is one of their 'ranch' type saws and not a pro saw. Sure, probably pretty well made but not a true pro saw. Their pro saws are well made though.
It's a good backup saw for somebody that really need something when they're out doing when they're working in the backyard or out in the farm Fields that's a good saw for that
I picked on of these up from marketplace for $100. It was like new, hardly used. I did a MM and it really woke it up. The throttle response is way better. Its a nice well built saw but parts are hard to source. Ebay is about the only place to get Efco parts. I'll just use it til it quits👍
These have a diverting baffle in the muffler. I gutted my muffler and drilled a couple of 3/8 holes in the front. Runs good enough to pull decent with a 20"bar. Not gonna win races but it's reliable and very well made
This John Deer saw looks exactly like a Husqvarna. That doesn't really matter anyway because as we all know, STIHL RUNS THE YARD. 😊👍🏿👑 #stihlpower #stihlisyourdaddy #stihlrunstheyard
@@stevenkinnison8044 Get your eyes fixed. That saw looks exactly like a bunch of Husqvarna saws. The only difference is that it's green instead of orange. 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
I know. Crazy. I mean, I know there are a lot of folks out there who like John Deere, I just didn't think I would have so many watching my channel. I'm gonna talk with the guy who bought it and offer to modify it just for the content. I'm sure he'll agree to that.
@@novicelumberjack I hope you do get a chance to modify one of these. I have several of these and am considering souping one up. They had a very good power to weight ratio back when they were new. I think 4.1 hp and 12.34lbs for the 56cc . The cs62 had 4.7hp in the same weight.
