Who's kittens? Owners? So precious!!!! Love those babies!!! Incredible dedication to the property. I'd feel bad taking the property and not having the owners around. I don't know them, but I hope they are doing well. They have done a lot and it shows tremendously. Incredible!!
Maybe I’m just getting old- it’s a really nice piece of property, but beyond that, all I see is Maintenance. Many scattered little buildings, landscaping, field maintenance. And you aren’t going to be strolling from building to building in the winter. Need a snowmobile. And other machines. More maintenance. There is a lot more to homesteading than walking in the woods and reading books by a gurgling brook.
I was with you until you said Portland was a great small city … maybe it’s changed but my wife and I went there 4 years ago on our way to Acadia and couldn’t believe how awful it was
You need to show the inside of the barn. Believe it or not, some of us are interested...I'd expand or do what I had to do to accommodate horses. Those fields look like hay fields to me...😊
The stacked rocks are called Cairns. They usually mark a trail. Awesome tax...I pay $8,000 per year for a modest 3 bedroom 1 bath house on a 1/3 acre. I'm wondering how the weather is there year round and are the roads driveable. Great property...any single older men in those woods 😉

Why do they always make tye homes so small on all that land lol..I live in Maine if you wanna be freezing and depressed for 6 months out of the year then go for it..me I am done I need sun all year.. it is nice though..

269K for 40 acres with buildings! makes me cry i could only dream of that price where i live.... it would mean moving away from all family and friends though..
Hey Phil, I’ve lived up in Presque Isle when I was a kid. Love Maine and have considered moving back. This property would be perfect for my lifestyle. However, since Maine has incorporated such recent strict gun control laws, it tends to conflict with my patriotic belief system and I’ve started looking elsewhere. Wonder how many are like me with my mindset sir?
What's so bad about tumber harvesting? It's a crop, like anything else. Just do it thoughtfully & carefully & you'd have more wood than you'd ever need...
