My 5/86 D21 king cab is LHD and made in japan it has 70k miles and my 88 2-door WD21 SE-V6 has 170k. I worked hard to get them in order and coding 55. I love these trucks and they are easy to work on. The prices on these are going crazy and parts prices are starting to reflect it. no judgments just stating my amazement what some of these are successfully selling for.

Very nice! My dad found an 83, which I'm trying to restore it. Pretty rough condition since it was used as a farm hand but I can't wait to get it road worthy.

Correction: I have a 1980 Datson 4x4 Kingcab. Which means 4x4 was available in 1980. With no engine differences until at least 1986, that i can see.

How many miles are on these trucks? I see that they're listed with the Nov auction with GAA Classic Cars, at no reserve, but the mileage isn't listed on either truck.

The islver one has a totally different sound! Black's sound is so greatttttt!!!!!!!! Is it cause of the engine or the exhaust? Anyones know?

The black one sound is coming from the clutch fan if that is what youre referring to when accelerating.

@@Dan.Parker yes this what im referring to. When the black is accelerating, it has amazing sound. So its from clutch fan? Can i do my old nissan d21 sound like this somehow?? I know, silly question..

@@serebbi its something to do with the aftermarket fans and how they make the molding, they do not make them out of beeswax anymore. It sounds like a garbage truck when accelerating. you would probably be better off just modifying the exchaust.... if you deleted the muffler or replaced it with some aftermarket thing you can make the d21 sound way better than this little engine.
