18:18 You're right. I find a roll of wire a very good replacement to a friend. They dont judge you at all, and theyll sit happily and watch while you code and tinker with electronics! :D
Don't mean to sound crude but the British accent talking about proper care for your tip had me like 😂. Love it! Very informative as a newbie to both arduinos and soldering. Thank you. Much ❤ from across the pond.
Thank you so much for saying soLLLder instead of sodder like the 'mericans. 😁 Also. The wire stripper you're showing at 4'49 is only about 16 euros and a life saver if you're an amateur like me. Other than that, great video! Lots of really good tips! Thanks a lot
if I was to solder the wires like you showed and decided I don't need the three big pins poking out anymore for space reasons, how would I go about removing them so the component is nice and flat?
@@oglocop4693 it will work fine, but you will need a solder sucker to draw the solder off.. unless you can figure another way to take them out. Also take care as it's easy to pull the pads off the circuit and damage the module
not me putting the wire and solder directily on a arduino micro without putting the pins first and accidentally removing one of the components (thank god it still worked at the bery least)
