people all have different reactions to things.. kids especially. she was in front of a crowd, in school and she was in shock. And not all kids know how brutal war is, she might not know everything her mom has been through. This doesn't make her autistic, it means she is a normal kid coping with shock..
I would say her reaction was one of detachment as it must be the toughest thing in the world for a little girl to know her mum has chosen a job that takes her away and into danger. Kids have coping mechanisms to deal with such massive emotional issues. Looks normal to me. Poor child. Makes you wonder if its right to be a Mum and go to war.
They said she was surprised by nervous and if you pay attention to the way she hugs her mom and the way the mom talked to her daughter the girl probably has some sort of disorder and didn't really process what was going on.

If she is 100%healthy or has disabilities,dont be cruel. Even i heared it in her voice she was overwhelmed to see her mom in front of her. Reporter also says that she was nervous. (Even i hate to stand in front of a crowd like that) ;o)
I think the reason she looks she doesn't care is because fir kids living way frim their mother is even harder than the father.I noticed that when I was babysitting 2 kids.When the father was way for a long time and he came home the kids looked happy but when the mother was way and she came back they look indiferent and kind of mad at her.I think they feel that they been abanded in a way.
