To those who care to read: This is my father’s favorite game, and growing up, he’d always exaggerate the music to me which always made me smile. He’s a big gamer at heart despite his old age, and being that we live countries apart, I come to this gameplay whenever I start to miss him. So thank you for uploading this. It makes me feel nostalgic. ♥️
If you sprinkle some casual RPG elements into Gauntlet, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and True Lies; this would be the outcome . . . Classic underrated gem!
This was my favorite game on amiga, I did several remixes on my channel. I did not owe nor know it on megadrive. The music sounds not as fat as the amiga, but it certainly has the steampunk vibe to it. Especially world 2 sounds really nice. I also like the grittyness in the voiceover samples! Very nice port.
@@ИринаАкинина-ъ3о , да, если играешь на физической консоли, то после прохождения каждого "мира" (они состоят из 4 уровней) - игра выдаёт пароль, который нужно записать. И далее этот пароль можно будет вводить через меню перед стартом новой игры А при игре через эмулятор, в подавляющем большинстве случаев (зависит от конкретного эмулятора) можно сохраняться вообще в ЛЮБОЙ момент игры, и естественно не только в Chaos Engine / Soldiers of Fortune
I grew up with the SNES version, but I think I need to try a few cross platform games on Genesis, for the wider resolution. Didn't realize how much screen real estate I was missing.
both snes version and genesis are great. i like the better resolution on the genesis and i like the colors on the snes it has a nice glow to the shooting effects on the snes version!
I loved playing this with my family. I wish my family and I were good enough to beat the game without save scumming. I beat this game with my Dad on sega emulator. I feel the Navy guy was the best, he had 4 wide bullet shots, & the nuke everything on screen. My Dad told me the scientist is the second best because at full weapon upgrade he gets the fastest shot. Is that true about the scientist?
The last boss was much harder than it looks especially when you don´t have your second player that died than the power is much lower than what is seen here! love the game though even though i couldn't finish it!! need a friends help on this one!!
@@jackobrien47 Agreed. The resolution on the Genesis version is nice and responsive. Plus the genesis D-pad really works quite well for this game compared to the SNES D-pad for diagonals
