Beautiful music and conjures up beautiful memories growing up in the church and being an altar boy. Once it became sadly evident that the church is being led by a non-Catholic pope, and was shocked that other denominations are little better served by their leaders, I had to move on to a non-denominational evangelical Bible church. While I am thankful the Lord led me in this direction I still do very much appreciate the superb beauty of some of the music and often spend Sunday evenings listening. Blessings.
I really do pray for your reversion into the Church. I understand the Pope not being the best leader out there right now but all of us Catholics have the same hope and faith in God that he will soon bless us with a faithful pope to come, in the end Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will triumph! I really envy you being able to serve in church and growing up and experiencing beauty like this. But with hope in God us young traditional catholics will restore beauty and tradition back to the Church. Pax
love the key of the prelude, and the sound of the organ is lovely. my impression of the romans in australia, in general, is that they are pretty high-church. st. mary's, melbourne is a pretty good example. my only complaint is communicants are somewhat disrespectful, in their intrusion into the nave, as the Gospel, Epistle, and prayers are declared. in the Episcopal church, one is strongly discouraged from moving when these acts are being offered to the Almighty.

This day is over, dark night comes on: O, hear our tearful prayers. Ne mens gravàta crìmine Vitae sit exsul mùnere, Dum nil perènne cògitat Seseque culpis ìlligat. Let not our soul, weighed down by sin, Misspend Thy gift of life, And forgetting what is Eternal, Be earth-tied by sin. O, may we strive to enter our heavenly home, And bear away the prize of life: May we shun what would injure us, And cleanse our soul from defilement.
