It's amazing how many of these native drummers are on You Tube. Equally amazing is the fact that they all sound virtually the same. I can only figure that it takes very little talent to do that.

Hello there.... first of all.... explain a little bit more why do you make the diferenciation of "native".. then who we all sound the same? And Last... i can assure you its not easy to sound like that... and even understand the lenguage of the djembe drum and speak it as if you were a native. Maybe your listening it is not as good... so that you listen all the same. Behind me and my students there is a solid work of more that 15 years. Thanks for your comment i invite you to see all the videos in my channell... also can we listen to your playing to see why you do such affirmation. Love. Rama

@@ramasankaran Native drums sound like they are from a primitive land. Like Africa. They don't use any of the sophisticated musicality that higher forms use - no melodies, harmonies, variation in rhythms or tempos, song structure, arrangements, lyrics, tonal variations of instruments, or dynamics. And when you say " i can assure you its not easy to sound like that" I can only recount my time teaching elementary school children drum circles. They picked it up after a half hour. And it was easy to sound like that.
