Great work, as always. I especially like that you think about future maintenance as well as the looks of things and the rigidity of the pieces. Mrs jeff is a pro, there are so much to remember and she handles it well. Sure the toung slips from time to time, but that just adds to the whole picture. I wonder if she has the mindset like i did in school many yerars ago; "I lern for the test, then it is gone...". Well done Jeff, this is going to be one great looking (and driving) truck when you are done. "Rough" on the outside but pure gold all the way through.

As someone mentioned in the last Frankenhauler video: wouldn’t it be a lot easier to use a Landcruiser brake booster and pedals? It would put the booster and fluid reservoirs in the engine bay so there’s more interior room, for HVAC, electrical, ect. I don’t know how common those buses are, but Landcruiser replacement parts have to be more common in places like the Outback

Hi Jeff, how does the steering column break away? Not sure about your engineer but the one I use in NSW is very strict on any upgrade having a collapsible steering column with break away mounts that allow it to move forward in an accident.

What did the coaster have in the way of firewall and under dash stuff? Not hate, but would have thought you could recycle that section of the coaster firewall and then just add some bead rolling and tie it all together in sheet metal, for the steering column, you could run a tube from left to right under the dash like modern cars, and then add mounts to it for the steering column and other items.

It just had the front of the bus. Also the steering went straight down instead of forward. Everything is different.

Why don’t you use scrivits for your captive mounts would be easier me thinks

Scrivets are those crappy plastic 'screw rivets'. I think you mean rivnuts, and they are fine for light internal fixings. They can end up spinning in their hole and you need to cut the bolt out. Welding in a nut is faster and much more secure.
