That final clip showcases the exhilaration of smart gameplay in Siege. Forcing a game of cat and mouse and seeing a sequence of smart decisions from both players is great. The one with the intel ultimately wins.
Old mate could have planted on the table in the other bomb site, he probably forgot in the moment as it as high pressure. Great gameplay from both players but Macie is just too good as usual haha
@@joshmills5284 I'll know if they're planting on table and just challenge it directly. I did this at 3:55, attackers are vulnerable planting on tables so I think the fight favors me either way.
Macie is by far the only R6 YT that taught me how to play smart when defending, like with pulse attacking through floors. Macie also inspired me to play Monty since I watched his older videos and I became a good Monty player. Glad to see that Macie is still doing all of this :)
Ngl, I think her loadout options work really well together. The P90 is really underrated. Taking advantage of that 50 round mag for heavy preform potential and the SMG 11 for a great back up.

As hoped, finally we get to watch someone use the endgame potential of Solis instead of all the other content creators just calling her a worse Pulse. Also an important thing about her runouts is that Solis knows for sure that the enemy is in a vulnerable state (droning / gadget out), while Pulse only knows the position.
That explains the reason for stealth you need to catch them in a position where they can provide the least danger to you or anyone assisting you in the task
They said pulse was bad in year 1 before macie showed what was possible with him. Them calling Solas a worse pulse was begging for this kinda response.
I dont know why people would call her a worse Pulse. Pulse's scan are... well, pulses and not constant real-time. Shorter range, very limited FoV, and long time to equip and put away. It also only sees the enemy and not anything else. Solis has a HEAP of advantages at the cost of having to use your ear and a bit your brain too to not wander into enemies, because you cannot directly see them. But she has an arguably better loadout, and impacts are almost as good as Nitro for the usual purpose of floorbombing. If anything, in my opinion she's a different, maybe a bit better Pulse. Especially for the higher-end of the playerbase.
Replace your roamers with a pulse and Solis starring up at a ceiling the entire round contributing nothing to your team. Sure, run it. More wins for the rest of us.
@@ReadIcculus93 it's obvious that solis and pulse are just wildcard picks and noone will build the whole defence around them. But if you get some weird map, or you play solo, or enemies are just better in "normal" siege, I would consider picking all these weird operators to try taking the round or two by a surprise.
And top it off that floor breaks with impact and it cancels their plant, which imo kinda dumb, but sure whatever... While Pulse has a sure fire kill, it takes a while, Solis cancels or disrupts plant

its been a long time since i quit r6 and even longer since ive seen a macie vid (i still have the macie charm in game tho). brought back good memories seeing this vid pop up on my feed. smart plays and the outro music! kind of nostalgic
so cool to finally get a new operator worthy of a whole video. azami was good too, even if a little more basic. kind of excited to finally have a reason to use p90 tho, never had a good reason to try to get good with it, mp5 was always the better option. obviously you make every operator look overpowered, but this op seems to change the pace of the game :D
I look forward to playing this operator. Although in lower ranks people already don’t drone… this operator encourages players not to drone more. Hopefully they make droning stronger now that this operator is there to balance things
When I was active in Siege I always watch MJ vids and learned a ton of stuff. I quit the game but now im back and Im rewatching MJ videos and Im STILL learning stuff

@@Art-vs6vx higher range (15m of Solis vs 9 of Pulse) + you are sure if the enemy is planting the defuser or is just staying still trying to bait you + you can use impacts while having the visor on, a thing that Pulse can't do

So everyone is talking about how Solis is going to be OP, but when you ask people to describe her they say "she's a defender version of IQ, but better." or "Oh she has the same uses as Pulse" I must have forgotten just how OP IQ and Pulse are...
Man.....the times when i was nearing an ace but don't make one because of stolen kills /trap deaths are endless to me. When i think i aced it turns out to be 4 .... i know how u feel
i think Solis should be able to use her gadget only three times, her gadget should be more like Lion’s. once she activates it, it should last between 5-10 seconds. during which, we can see the attackers with their gadgets moving in real time. from what Ive seen looking at Macie, is that her gadget lasts too long and the range is huge, it’s the whole map. also people are getting killed from the most random places because they are spotted quickly. I love Macie’s playstyle, but if yall cant see the huge advantage this gives players, theres a problem.
Holy i watched a few solis videos of people saying its bad but how you actually player it looks like a very viable operator! i cant wait to testit when it comes out! =D , that last clip man, holy moly you outplayed him so badly, i dont think many people with the stress of the moment , would actually sit and think about the situation and analyse thats better not to engage the enemy.
