Honestly the game gets boring when everyone is rushing & gunning, 1-tapping, doing janky jittery movements, quick peeking like a cobra on cocaine and getting lucky random headshots.. This is not the Siege i fell in love with in the beginning, now it reminds me more of Cod4 Promod server. It's Ubisoft's fault for trying to reach a broader audience and catering this game to children. They went the Fortnite route by adding bunch of goofy and gimmicky cosmetics, colorful pink furry unicorns, Rick & Morty costumes etc. and the game became like a circus. It has no connection to Tom Clancy and spec-ops. I used to play in the same way when i was younger, between the age of 14-18 i played on Cod4 Promod Sniper servers and i was all about that adrenaline hype, quickscopes and trickshots.. But now i'm 27 and i'm too tired of that playstyle, i want the old Siege when it was stealthy and methodical.
Hoping you see this at some point, but Macie I swear you are the most inspiring person to watch on this game. Playing the game how it's truly meant to be played using genuine intelligence over people that only are well known because of crazy aim. Nothing against them, but you are the reason I want siege to get big again and more people start filling up the servers. I've been tryna make myself relevant on Twitch for R6 and a lot of my friends are kinda in and out on this game, but after 7 years and more to come, this game has my heart, and I've watched you throughout all of it. Yea it’s nice seeing someone who’s smart on RU-vid because it seems like the only people who play siege are movement nerds who lean and crouch spam as hard as they can without any strats to speak of.
I agree as a console player. My brain has saved my ass against some good mnk players. My aim is good too but you can buy a xim but you can’t buy a brain. I love seeing smart plays rather than a prefire anyday.
From my minimal console experience, this season has been great so far for the community. People are now talking in game more and having fun compared to the last year. The cross-platform addition lessened wait times and I’ve seen much more communication. I don’t play often, so maybe I had a really good day when I first played this season, but I’m hopeful to see some life brought back into the game :)
On pc is the same, i now see more people talking and giving callouts and less people being toxic, now that u dont lose so much mmr on rankeds the people are more relaxed and can enjoy more the game in my opinion.
But there's still toxicity when it comes to teamkills. Honestly they should just get rid of friendly-fire and make it so you immediately damage yourself if you shoot a teammate. It would still keep the idea of muzzle control and make you watch where you shoot, just without the toxicity. I really see no reason for friendly-fire anymore. Maybe if the game was highly tactical and realistic like Ready Or Not it would make sense, but Siege has changed a lot and it's not realistic anymore.
Solis is such a fun operator honestly, been enjoying her the past few days (Also that skin combo on the P90 in the opening clip, I kinda like it actually lmao)
@@randomsimpsonsquotes6033 it’s fun to play with my old squad again. But I still think they’ve added a bit too much stuff to the game. It’s cool having all the gadgets but the game still feels one sided at times. (Mainly defended sided)
@@Counter-Chicken I’d say it’s a “phase game”. Basically it’d be fun to come back and get into with friends and play for a few weeks or so/once in awhile. I’ve enjoyed playing ranked, I have a full 5 stack of friends, and it’s just a casual mess around time. Outside of being with friends/an on the occasion game I’d say stay away. It’s gotten very grimy and we’ve played against a few cheaters early on with the huge rank reset. That’s my best advice for that.
Yeeeeo, Macie. If you see this, I used to watch you all the time. From like 2016 to 2020 I was always tuning in. At some point I did grow up, (I’m 20 now, started watching when I was 14 man) had less time, but I joined the military, and I will say. Everyone here that plays/played rainbow knows of you, and now we all started watching you again. We talk about how you taught us how to use pulse way back when and when cav first came out, like. It’s crazy man, now we’re all about to get back on rainbow and play how it used to be. Thank you for the inspiration man, much love
coming back to this game after a few years, and your vids came back into my recommended. i've always admired your smart plays and always to play the same way as you but on console LOLOL, truly one of the most entertaining siege players even after so long.

This has been one of my best ranked seasons in awhile performance wise and fun wise. This op is a big reason why she’s so fun to clutch on and get easy plant denial for with her kit. That fuze kill lmao
They could add the lean without aiming to counsel by clicking both analog sticks at the same time and after aiming it goes away and it switches left to right the usual way just a thought
You can bait soils by dropping defuser on the bomb site, it looks the same as if you were trying to plant it. Also you can tell when soil is using the gadget by looking for +1 increments in the scoreboard. Pretty much the same as hunting for preplaced drones with vigil's ability in past seasons
Macy you need to do some kind of master class or something, how you don’t get melted randomly by other people is crazy! Your situational awareness is very good.
Idk if I got the concept of this op. but she is basically a worse pulse, bc pulse can see you anytime while solis just see attackers if they are using gadgets?

I was thinking: can Solis be juked just dropping the defuser to bait him/her (idk the gender of Solis)? I explain it better: if you are attacking and you are in a 1v1 situation against Solis, could you drop the defuser to make Solis thinking you are planting in that spot (while Solis is using his ability of course) and you could you this at you advance to make him fall for that. Am I right?

You can tell how good a new op is, by the amount of vids macie can do with a new operator. 3-4 whole vids already just with solis, whereas with grim he didnt have a handful of clips
I feel like this operator is great in higher ranks when people actually drone and plant I’ve been trying to play it but there’s just no use case for it
