solitude. 

in these past few months, i’ve been in a process of piecing my life back together. thread by thread. breath by breath. finding myself all over again. rediscovering who i am in solitude. some days i feel on top of the world and independent and strong and free. others i look back on the life i had and a smaller part of me misses how familiar and comfortable and easy it was. everything has changed. and i know it is for the better. but sometimes i honestly feel so misunderstood by those i was once closest to. my eyes have really been opened up to who truly loves me unconditionally. and i feel like a lot of people in my life didn’t deserve to know me at the level of intimacy i offered them. i feel like thru this rebirth the entire timeline i was living in has crumbled away. and i’ve been experiencing such intense growing pains. the inevitable part of evolution. the death of what has been. i know something beautiful will come from all of this. but i’m in the in between stage right now. when everything is messy and uncertain. so i’ve been letting myself grieve. hurt. and cry. i’ve been letting myself let go. so i can be a little bit lighter when i reach the other side.

I felt really lost & alone, I found my way to this video. It healed me a lot & really helped me feel a sense of comfort like I’m not alone in this endless cycle of death & rebirth. Loving you claire

Claire, I have been feeling this same way. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life I’ve never accepted or healed from. I had a horrible break down this last week. It was one of the worst I’ve had. I’ve had to realize I have to put in the work to heal each day. This video helped me so much. They always do! Your videos are a beautiful work of art and they speak volumes of who you are inside. I appreciate and love you so much, and I’ve missed your videos! Please don’t let these people get to you. Keep doing what you do! You are wonderful and you deserve it. Thank you for being a light for so many of us.

at the end you're talking about loving yourself and then the screen goes black. i can only see the reflection of myself in the dark screen as you say "it's safe for you to let go". it may not have been intentional, but that's so so perfect and poetic.

Keep going girl. I did the same as you and left my life behind in Cali, then Colorado, and then went to Hawaii. A lot of adventures took place and I met someone in Hawaii who I went back to the mainland with and we had a beautiful child. I feel like for the past couple years I started to lose who I truly am and my connection to source, because of my fear. When it was just me, I was much more brave. Once I had my baby, many of my insecurities surfaced and I been really having to face them the past few days. And your videos come up on my feed and something compelled me to watch them. I just want to say thank you for reminding me of the unconditional love that surrounds us.
