Hope you enjoyed the video legends! What should my next challenge be?!?

Sammy a lot of game fishermen don’t realise how delicate the sail on a sailfish is they tear very easily, and they use the sail to help to manoeuvre when hunting. As you have a vast amount of people following your channel could you mention that so people re aware of it. Thanks Sammy, and by the way well done succeeding in your personal challenge that was not an easy thing to do👍🤘

Great video Sam, one of your best. I often read in the comments of people referring to you as a 'legend' , and having known you just a few years before you could fish, I'd have to say that it sits a little uneasy with me. Definitely something that family members don't usually call each other..... but,........in trying to find descriptors for what you just achieved, I had to go beyond being extremely proud and happy for you and offering my sincere congratulations. What you pulled off, in my eyes, is legendary. Not just the wonderful fish, all solo in one year, but the behind the scenes persistence, focus and effort that only your family sees. Of that I'm proud, and know how deserving of this milestone you are. I tip my hat to you mate, and want to say that it's generally impressive people that do impressive things! Thanks for taking us all along for the ride.

Hey Sammy, I really enjoy your videos. They are really good and I love them. I am a kid that lives along the Gold Coast, who has fishing dreams to one-day catch fish like you do mate. I actually have a RU-vid channel of my own. It known as Tigerpit Adventures. I also did the flathead classic! I placed in the top 5 for the juniors with over 800 points. I would love to some day meet you and grow my RU-vid channel to some day be as good of a fisherman as you are! You are my idol and I would some day love to meet you in person. Excellent video's as always Sammy, well done and on your own to top it all. Dangerous on the sea on your own though anything can happen and you stuffed. My skipper died of a heart attack on the boat, fortunately I was there to take the boat home.

Congratulations! Solo offshore is my favourite- so many decisions to make once hooked up. Turn, bring in other lines, reel, accelerate, slow down- many times all during the fight!

I enjoy your videos. I am now at an age where I no longer wish to catchfish larger than I. For 18 years, I tried to catch everything in the Sea of Cortez in Mexico and pretty much did. Fishing there is much like I see on your videos. Exceptions were: broadbill swordfish and Black marlin. Both those are not in great abundance there. I caught dozens of striped marlin and Several 'Blues' as well as dozens of yellowfin tuna plus a few Wahoo and sail fish. My boat was a 19 foot center console open panga. And dozens of Mahi Mahi up to 70 pounds. I'm a bit of a 'Foodie', too. My favorites for food are Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and all kinds of Reef fish. One day, I took and friend out and he hooked a blue marlin, jigging. Be well and keep your line in the water.
